Aha .
For a second, I was worried that you'd guess it even earlier on in the game. First Rommel, then Roosevelt, both connected to WW II. Since Leni Riefenstahl is connected to Hitler, I thought you'd know her too .

There were only three R's when I went googling for famous German women.
Otherwise, I've never heard of her. |

Wilma Rudolph. Hmmm... "Contributed to sports", but maybe not an athlete. "Writer of sorts" - "that, too", maybe an autobiography. German Woman, several generals left. I'll take a shot at it:

General: Are you knwon for contributions to arts & entertainment - including literature but not sports? This is difficult to answer. If I'd take this question literally, the answer would be no. But that would bring you guys on the wrong track. So I'll answer Yes (although she did contribute to sports too).

Stumper: Did you lose a much-publicized tennis match to Billie Jean King at the Houston Astrodome in 1973? Beats me, ask away.
General: Are you European? Yes
Stumper : Are you the British actor who has played - 'Den Perry'( a rival nightclub owner in Phoenix Nights) and The lead singer of Creme Brulee in the series 'The League Of Gentlemen? I can see you have great taste in comedy . But I assume you mean someone other than one of the four actors since none of their names start with an "R". So, I have no idea. Take a general.
