I'm feeling particularly uncreative today, so:
1 bubble for Matron a newting for Mitten 2 bubbles for Mutton
for a total of 3 bubbles for Magus this batch.
Edited to include Magus's previous batch:
a newting for Mana 2 bubbles for Mono another newting for Mini
Edited again to note that the bubble tally in reply #23 is up-to-date so far as I can tell.

Bright and early that morning FF came knocking at the door. Face bright and full of alliteration, FF fluttered over to the cowldryn. The first ingredient to hit the water was eleven evangalists. With a mere sigh, the cowldryn released 4 bubbles. Filled with joy, FF dropped in her next ingredient mummified montheists and the cowldryn silently released 5 bubbles. Dancing with exuberance, FF dropped in her final ingredient sorry samauris. Silence prevailed in the hall and FF looked to be getting a little nervous. Finally, and ever so slowly, 2 bubbles ascended from the cowldryn. FF gave a sigh of relief and flew out the door in a rush to go find more ingredients.
Later that day Magus came wandering in with a thoughtful expression on his face. Going up to the cowldryn, he silently dropped in Cob then Cub and finally [/b]Cube[/b]. The first ingredient gives him 1 bubble as does the second, the last however give him 2 bubbles |

Lets see...
Late that evening Magus wandered in with three ingredients, and as usual wasted no time in getting on with business. (know it's spelled wrong) Full of pomp and circumstance, the first two ingredients (cab and Cabal) went in with a quite plop, followed by two quiet pops...the last ingredient (cabalism) was dropped in by a small flying snake which earned him 3 bubbles
Later that night just before Master Leviticus closed the door, a small fluttering form darted in. Sensing that her time was short, FF quickly droppe din Cheetos Popcorn which pursuaded the cowldryn to produce 4 bubbles. With a small smile of pleasure, FF whisked out the door and all was peace.

Sorry guys, this is the first time that I've managed to get online.
Werebear: A blang earns you 1 bubble as does Ablang While, abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz gets you a whopping 12 bubbles
Magus: Cat and Mouse gets you 5 bubbles and Catalog gets you 2 bubbles. On the other hand Cartography gets you [/b]3 bubbles[/b].

That morning, Werebear the newt, Slithered in with a complaint. "I posted three ingredients not two!," he whispered in his newty voice, "Would you please recount?" Then, my wonderful co-mod, floated down from on high, intoning: "Then you just got newted three times Werebear. ". Yes, Master Leviticus said, "Listen to the woman." Next to come in was Magus. Familiar with the routine, he walked directly up to the cowldryn and dropped in Applebees is a great grill (you have good taste by the way) the cowldryn gurggled happily, and spit out 10 bubbles. Next in was Coronets are always good gifts. It seems that the cowldryn agreed since you get 14 bubbles. Finally you drop a poor unsuspecting cat in the cowldryn. With a swift yowl the cat jumps out, gives you a very dirty look, and sits itself up on the shelf in the sun to dry. Meanwhile, the cowldryn gave an angry whisper and a very large bubble floated up, and began to move very so slowly towards the unsuspecting Magus, who was trying to coax the cat back into the cowldryn. Suddenly Magus was trapped and with a sudden realization and, resigned fatality, popped the bubble. a small mouse provided much entertainment for the cat.

I don't have much time so this will be a short update.
Magus: For All Alligators Aerate Automatic Ailments you get 15 bubbles, For Culddly Carnivorous Cats Catch Careful Canaries gets you 12 bubbles and lastly, Evil Egotistic Egrets Elevatte Enough Eggs Elegantly you get 16 bubbles. Hint: If you had changed Evil to Angry, you would have improved you score.
Werebear: for Oblong you get turned into a newt. and for obelisk you get one bubble. Lastly for Ooh! Octopi you would get turned into a newt with eight legs.

That afternoon, Master Leviticus was peacefully sitting down to nice cup of tea totally obilivious to the fact that total mayhem and chaos was about to break loose. It was around that time that Magus sauntered in. Wasting no time, he walked up to the lip of the cowldryn and tossed in Slithering Slimy Critters all was peaceful and the cowldryn spit out a single bubble with all calm and dignity. Next Magus tossed in Slimy slither Darkness which earned him the same treatment from the cowldryn as the last ingredient. Then with a smile, and a dangerous gleam in his eyes. Magus tossed in A Cat Entangled Gallons of Igloo Karma in Mediocre Oven Quarantines South of Utah Where You Ski! Still, it wasn't without some aid and many of our own cans were shot! If you ever make an attempt at gouging out your eyes, I want your stereo. The poor cowldryn let out some steam in concentrated burst, making ML jump with a rather undignified yelp. When all was said and done, Magus floated out on rather large cloud of 106 bubbles!. And I don't think that the poor castle will ever be the same. Later on that day, when things had settled down. That flying kitten FF sailed in. With a flourish she added a whole deviled egg, and empty sprite bottle and a Korean textbook. Suprisingly no clouds, windstorms, or large fairy engulfing bubbles ensued. With a resigned sigh the cowldryn spit out 19 bubbles. 9 bubbles for the first, 7 bubbles for the second, and for the last, 3 bubbles
You seem to be close, Magus. But, your still having trouble with the transformations? hmmm.... Would you do me a favor and send me how you think everything works? I'd love to know.

I'll post the fireball rule blatently. Any ingredient beginning with an even letter of the alphabet earns you a fireball. (BDFHJLNPRTVXZ).
Transformation ingredients are bubble ingredients that meet (or don't meet) certain criteria. No fireball ingredient has earned a transformation.
Bubbles - I don't know. *laugh* and I don't ahve the time to wrack my brain much. |

for bubbles, i think, It helps to understand the fireball rule in tandem.
The transformation rule is giving me trouble, but other than that i think i've got most of it so far. And i might have submitted a longer ingredient except that I was quite busy being distracted by... something else.

why stop there, magus? The bubbles are secondary to figuring out the rules, I could have had thousands of bubbles by now. I'm trying to understand the bubbles myself, but seem to be missing something. I thought all the gits and goos and gitchies would help me... |

yeah, i think i'm beginning to understand the bubble thing.
Slithering Slimy Critters first, then Slimy Slithering Darkness to test my theory.
and then, in an effort to start "catching up" to werebear:
A Cat Entangled Gallons of Igloo Karma in Mediocre Oven Quarantines South of Utah Where You Ski! Still, it wasn't without some aid and many of our own cans were shot! If you ever make an attempt at gouging out your eyes, I want your stereo.

Werebear: Light bulb is exactly where it belongs in this instance. Though I wrote down a shortened version of it there (which as been corrected). As for Octopi your right, it didn't deserve a fireball and though when I originally evaluated it, I had it right, somehow I copied it wrong. My apologies. Octopi should be under transformations *corrects mistake*
MagUs: Sorry about the name mispell, I always read it as magnus for some reason...anyhow, on with the show.
For Iquolai is a fake yiou get 5 bubbles, for Effigies burn quite well you get 9 bubbles and finally for Quit hogging the bubbles Werebear, I would like to actually be in contention for once you get 8 bubbles
You appear to be almost there, but do you understand the how I total the bubbles? Remember, the rules are all connected. |

um... not that i mind, since i'm still getting bubbles, but is there a particular reason it looks like there's an 'n' in my name?
I'm pretty sure i have the rule now. I think it's a first for me that i actually figured out the rules of a cowldryn. The only thing i can't figure out is why some things give you a transformation. *shrug*
Iquolai is a fake Effigies burn quite well and lastly Quit hogging the bubbles Werebear, I would like to actually be in contention for once

Questions:
Should Octopi have gotten a fireball? Should Light Bulb really have gotten points?
They seem to be anomolies among the other ingredients. |
