It could be an ESL/cultural thing.

I have no problem with Princess Bride, but I find it an okay movie at best. There's nothing special about it. I even started a thread about it in OT a couple of years ago.

I'd be a kind of semi-member. I don't hate the movie entirely, but the book was better. The same thing happened with Hunt for Red October. I loved the movie, so I read the book, and the book was infinitely better.

I think I need to start a club of people who didn't like The Princess Bride so I don't feel alone. Although I have a feeling I might have trouble finding members.

No contest here, though I'm sure I'll like Hero if I see it.

Hero is a fantastic film, but Princess Bride has it ALL! I imagine it'll go all the way, or close to it.

And Hero is on the board!!!
Bah at people. I guess if Hero is going to lose to something, I'm glad it's Princess Bride. |

Princess Bride dominated the whole way, while Hero is lucky just to make it in. How much of a killing will this be?
