Your subtle wit flies over my head. I do not understand. But that's OK.
To paraphrase a line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail: "This is supposed to be a happy occassion. Let's not bicker and argue about who totally fucked it up with their assinine voting habits." |

honestly, I don't mean to attack you personally. your comment just seemed to be the last in a string of disappointments that people voice over Disney films beating other favorites. Perhaps i just attribute a critical tone to most of your posts because that's what i've come to expect. Either way, i think it's unfair to characterize much of the GL as puerile and immature ("kids who still get tucked in to bed by mommy every night") in any circumstance. If you've got a beef with dethwing, say it outright, he ought to be used to it by now |

The fact that I've defended Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles (especially the former - the latter I only saw once) ought to strongly suggest I don't dismiss animated movies. I also nominated My Neighbor Totoro (the movie - not my neighbor, Totoro).
I just don't dismiss everything that wasn't a kiddie matinee as just another "fhqwhgads in disguise". |

I'd say that's a pretty strong suggestion.
If you're nitpicking because i said animated instead of "Disney" then bah. |

Do they? I haven't seen that suggested anywhere here. |

I loved South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. |

No. Would it be rude of me to point out that Disney movies have an unfair advantage in a forum full of kids who still get tucked in to bed by mommy every night? |

Shawshank Prison. Filmed at the Mansfield State Penitentiary - that's in Ohio.
'Tis a good movie. |

| And yet, both have had 1 loss so far. Two Towers went down to Shawshank, while Return of the Jedi lost to Monsters Inc. |

Ditto that, Quag. Would it be rude of me to say that Star Wars and LOTR both have a rather unfair advantage in a forum full of geeks? |

| Both were equal blow outs in the last round, this should be a good one... maybe? |

| Shawshank pounds down Groundhog day after a close match over LotR. Now it faces the other side of the coin...Star Wars. |
