In my eyes Christie won. So when I see "The Stranger" in the contest, I'm going to picture "Murder on the Orient Express". If that makes me childish...so be it |

| If one can vote against a book one has never read, can one vote twice for a book one has read twice? I think it makes sense. |

| No, I'd just pick one at random to make sure they don't tie again. |

| Break the tie based on what, Jedo? Is one title cooler than the other or something? |

| Can they not both be entered into the bracket? Maybe one of them given a bye. I haven't voted because I haven't read either one, but if you need me to break the tie, I'd be happy too. |

| I'm not sure what "it" Jedo is going for, but I suppose there's no harm in leaving this open for the week. |

| All you have to do is add a Swahili to Hungarian dictionary as a third choice. |

I think you better let it. You don't want two ties, do you? |

I was just going for consistency with how tiebreaks have been done in the past, and how they will be done in the future (while allowing those who voted for one of the other books in the group to have a say as well, which isn't an issue in later rounds).
If more people want to see this running for the whole week, I don't particularly care either way. Let me know. Or we can have a poll. |

I think the poll should be opened for longer, really. I mean, a lot more people voted in the runoff, it makes no sense to have such a small time frame in which to do the tiebreaker.
Also, it looks tied to me. |

I'm tempted to just break the tie myself, as I haven't voted in this group, but excel put the winner in the last bracket division anyway, so I'll do a tiebreak. 24 hours from the time of this post.
Murder on the Orient Express - Agatha Christie
The Stranger - Albert Camus
The first round will be posted in a little while. |
