| Thanks. Found both - LP - but never knew before that they were measures. |

| The only two missing from your list Imperial are the first and third answers. |

It has been a lengthy puzzle, but I gather it is now largely solved. I did not measure up - fell two short. I looked around for a perch and found none, so settled for a rod. Must be out of my league.

Here's one last hint...invis: There are 14 related and ordered words hidden all together. |

Jas, my 'stay within order' comment was to hint at the lengthening of it. There's also the other hint for the number of them. Also, I saw your "meter" immediately, but it wasn't till after Gomez' post that I noticed it was centimeter...d'oh |

Well I noticed that things seemed to be lengthening but wasn't sure if that was part of the pattern... if it was then my reply didn't fit in too well |

| Good spot Jas. Did either of you get the whole thing? |

Thanks Jas, that makes much more sense than what I was thinking. When I noticed palm, hand and foot I spent about 15 minutes looking for body parts

Well I'm not sure I've completely worked it out but....
Logain's paragraph is in imperial measurements, my sentence was in metric.
Maybe that will help

*Bump*
It seems I let this one get away unsolved.
It's not a "can you find the pattern and reply in kind" paragraph. It's what's in this specific paragraph that you're looking for. The intro has 2 clues that will let you know if you fully got it or not. |

| The sequence of vowels looks very contrived. Nothing else I can spot though. |

Well, it doesn't contain the letter 'x'. |

Nothing yet?
There's definitely something peculiar about the paragraph...even if it's not a pattern you're looking for. |

It may not be the most lengthy of paragraphs, but you will need to be doubly lucky to get it and stay within order...
All I need is to stay within cheap, almost harsh and crude quarters. Panache? No. But the info others pass to a reporter cub...it's a low pay job. If at home, I may arduously work for odd hours; the one gotcha in my life. My recent work? A brief url on geocities to roam. I let all read my file. A guest is always welcome. |
