Stay healthy, you two.. |

Congratulations! I was going to joke and tell you I feel sorry for both of you. But I just can't.

There have been a couple other GL'ers that have tied the knot but not sure if they met at the GL like you two did.
Best of luck to both you and CP! You really should start your own topic in OT (where all the action is). If you don't, someone else will! You are both celebrities here so hurry up! Also, you both should begin posting a bit more often. |

April 12th. I didn't actually realise that it was Easter until after I'd already taken time off work etc. If anyone can make it to Aussieland they're more than welcome It will be a small deal so most of it will be getting drunk with my insane relatives =) |

| I have no idea if this qualifies, but I got an internship with Stone and Company Entertainment, a development company for reality shows and game shows. Since it's development I can't talk about what I work on, but they did work on the Mole's recent season, Tim Gunn's guide to style, the Man Show, and Shop 'Til You Drop, if any of those ring a bell. Woo semester in Los Angeles! |

| I'm back, that should be worthwhile news, right? Or not, I doubt many remember me, since I didn't contribute all that much. But for those that do remember, I'll be around again, still not contributing all that much. |

I just got back from Poplar Bluff (which is in the bootheel of Missouri), where I was shooting a photo essay following a family recovering from the extensive flooding down there. It was awesome and I lucked out in finding a subject who was equal parts interesting and open. Here are a few:
This is not so much worthwhile, but it is decidedly not worthless. So, you know. |

Since it hasn't been updated since, I may as well update again.
My sponsorship application for my husband was submitted to Canada Immigration in March and pushed through in 4 weeks instead of 8. Jason's immigration application was pushed through to open quickly and we've a;ready received our case number (good for easier border crossings). The day after that I was asked to pay the right of permanent resident fee for Jason. That fee payment request usually means that the final decision is only 6-8 weeks away.
If that happens in 8 weeks from the notice to pay, that would put the decision right between Canada Day and US Independence Day - how appropriate.
I am feverishly looking for a new place to live so we each only move once. |

Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 3:37 PM, our immigration lawyer received the rest of our application. Now we wait for him to process and respond before submitting to CIC.
Merry Christmas to us. This is one of the best gifts Jason and I will give ourselves this Christmas. |

Just wanted to say thanks to Aga and Quailman for posting those stories. Considering how clueless I am about cooking, odds are I would've made the same mistake one of these days.
Thanks for saving me from a very garlicky fate... |

Many years ago a woman came to my house while I was still at work to cook dinner for me. She did not know the difference between a clove and a bulb of garlic. She had made a casserole and placed half in a separate dish in my freezer for bachelor Quailman to enjoy at a later date. I could smell the garlic from outside. We pitched it and went out for dinner. A couple of days later I opened the freezer, only to find the second serving. Yuck! |
