Speaking of that, is GLChat still happening? I haven't signed into AIM in bloody years, but GLChat was one of the few things I used to use it for. Anyone still frequenting it? |

| Someone with a rapidly changing IP opened up every possible page in a new window. It could also be bots, of course. |

That sounds familiar.
Is that when we excluded robots from scouring the site? |

Well, I mean I knew what time it said for me, but I didn't know what it time it was listed in. I also didn't know that you knew where it was.
So.
You could look at the time on your screen, if it was a different time than mine, then you would "know" that it was specific to your time zone. (though, if it were the same time, you couldn't know one way or the other.)
Ergo.
QED. |

Can't you just check it, compare it to mine, and calculate which time zone it is then? |

I know where it is
If the current board time matches your local time, then it's MST on the timestamp for the "most online" note. |

I'm not sure of the time zone, probably mine, which is MST.
It's on the main page of Discussion Forums (down at the bottom, in the "who's online" stats. |

Is that 2:35 pm mountain time the day after christmas? That does seem odd. I suppose a lot of people would be home for the holidays, especially as a lot of our membership was students. And it's later in the day, so they've slept off the meal/alcohol. Very early morning for the Aussies and Kiwis, though, so Mackay, Mole, Tally et. al. were likely sleeping which means they didn't count towards the total. Was that back when GLChat was hoppin'? Most people probably had the GL open in order to get to GLC.
I wonder what threads were active at the time. |

| What the hell happened that day? Is it a phpBB error from a version change, or the ubb/phpBB changeover? |
