| It would suit me. You already know my AIM screen name, lexprod; I'm glmathgrant on everything Google-related. |

| So I guess mathgrant's taking 7, and Zag just remember that cause he says its forced doesn't mean you have to. BTW if you guys are both on AIM or gchat, we could do this "live" if it would suit the two of you. |

Okay, I take 7, forcing you to take 15 or to lose to me taking 5, and then I take 27.
If you take 46, then I take 38. To avoid losing to 5 or 50, you must take 30, and I take 9 for the forced win.
If you take 39 (forcing 18), then you must take 30 (in which case I take 9 and win), or 10 (forcing me to take 29, but forcing you to lose with 5 or 50).
So I don't resign after all. |

I just realized that this analysis isn't quite true:

15, 3, 11, 32, (13 or 24), 5 for the win.
If I go to 48, ...
48, 40, 19, 7, 15, see above. |
The "see above" isn't true, because the combination of 24 and 40 actually causes Zag to win before I claim 5. So maybe I should be the one resigning.
(Also, I did go to 40, albeit in invisible text.) |

And I'll move to 41.
Whaddya mean that's an illegal move? 40, then. |

| LOL. I've already resigned this one, there is no chance for me. But sure, I'll move to 48 if you insist on dragging it out. |

I'm pretty sure that I never had a prayer on this board. As I said when it came out: "Ouch, it's a tough one for me. Both boards are 11 to 13, in mathgrant's favor." (By that I meant that there were 13 grey squares -- mg moves on to gray -- and only 11 whites on both mine and mg's cards.) The fact that three gray squares on his card and not on mine, 5, 25, and 7, are right in the middle of the board, made it even more hopeless. |

Nah, I'll play this out. I want to lose the old fashioned way, by actually losing. I was just kidding because I wanted to save lexprod the trouble of making more images.
Your Paint.NET image is nicer than my Paint image, for sure! |

I certainly don't want you to let me win. I've just been using paint.net to update the board, which works fine. Below is the board from last game, close to the end. However, it would be a pain to construct a new board, I suppose. Anyway, if you're not interested in playing anymore, go ahead and resign.
Note that the game we are in is almost impossible for me to win if you are half-way trying, so the score is going to be 1-1.

I'll try to let Zag win so you don't have to make any more graphics.
Edit: Never mind, I forgot we were playing to 3 instead of 2. Can I resign instead? |

Zag is correct, and once Jeopardy is over I'll get to work building the new round.
And here it is!
Zag finished the last round, so mathgrant gets the first move. As always, that 42 is not marked on the cards, just your starting point. Zag's up 1-0, but it's best of 5 so plenty of time to catch up. |
