Probably. My dislike of Bill aside he is a great coach and an easy first ballot hall of famer. he and McDaniels could turn Tebow into an average passer than watch out. But this discussion has reminded me of one of my favorite South Park moments of all time. Which I happily share in this low quality youtube link enjoy...

| Since it is such a short contract, I wonder if Belichick is buying low so he can sell high later. Give Tebow some good mentoring, and he might be a more valuable trade later. |

| I am torn. I love Tebow. What the media and jets did to him is repulsive. But Belichick is the devil (waves hi at Zag =D). Luckily Tebow is not likely to see that light of day unless Brady breaks his leg (of course that would give me something else to celebrate.) Still I think New England is the best spot for Tebow. |

I read some more since, and I agree that Tebow probably won't be doing much. However, Bill might be grooming the next QB for whenever Brady retires. Of course, that's not very cringe-worthy since Tebow would actually be good by the time he really plays.
I am interested to see how Welker does with the Broncos. I think he has real talent, and Manning has a relatively similar style to Brady. |

Both are true. Both make me a little ill. But, as we say in New England: In Bill We Trust.
I'm sure Tebow is just a backup, in case Brady has actual broken bones. Several of them. Otherwise he stays on the bench. Crazy glued. |

| Zag, is it true Welker is gone and Tebow is in? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm suddenly very interested in the coming NFL season. |

Disappointing game by Green Bay.
Run defense against the Vikings: "We totally got this, coach!"
Run defense against the 49ers: "Dur, which way did he go?"
Zag, it seems the Pats get to have a playoff of repeat games. Rematch the Texans, then rematch last year's Championship game. Since the Giants aren't in the running, I say the Pats will probably win it all. |

| Saturday's teams averaged 37¼ points per team with 31 and 35 being losing scores. I thought the losing teams would win. I predict The Patriots and Seahawks will win on Sunday. |

LOL. Me, too.
It's the Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady game that is going to be epic. I would be happier about it if we were playing in Foxboro, but we have to head into Mile-High Stadium. Ugh.
Obviously, I'm assuming the outcome of the Texans game. I mean, lets get serious; they had trouble beating the Bengals.
And Tom Brady has Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez healthy. Do you have any idea how scary that is? It's not just having two pro-bowl tight ends, one of whom would be a starting wide receiver if that were his position, that is scary. It's having the brain and arm of Tom Brady standing between them. If the Texans are foolish enough ever to put in a specialty defense, like in a third and short, where they stack in all their big guys, then Tom won't ever let them swap out. He'll go steady no-huddle, moving Gronk to wide receiver when that's called for, and exhaust those fat defensive linemen.
Plus, as you learned a week ago, the Pats defense finally has their shit together.
"Oh no. They're going to walk into that game much too over-confident, and the Texans are going to surprise them."
Umm, no. We fell for that trick once before, when the Jets surprised us in the playoffs after we had blown them out in the regular season game only a month earlier. Believe me that Tom and Bill have been talking about that embarrassment for a week, now, and they have the team as pumped up as if they were going to be playing the Giants. |

Now this is the Packers team that I've been missing for a couple weeks. Regardless of the outcome, I think they have played a good first half.
Also, I'm totally stoked to see a Pats/Texans rematch. |

Wow. Down to the wire. Congrats, Jedo. Well done to hang in there, and to make the gutsy play at the end that was necessary to win.
It's a little ironic that my Patriots, whose defense has never been particularly strong, end up beating me by shutting out the Dolphins. Still, now that we've picked up the first round bye that we need to lick our many wounds, I'm happy with the outcome. |

IF the Cowboys wipeout, Zag wins.
IF the Redskins wipeout, Monk wins.
IF both teams score AND it is a close match, Jedo wins.
Feels sort of like the real playoff race. An already intense football game just got ramped up with these stakes. |
