Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.
Refers to games such as Ultima Online, or The Sim online, or Dark Age of Camelot, etc where you pay a monthly service fee, get an account, and role play on a server with other people (as oppose to playing by yourself at home). Your stats are usually stored on the server also.

yeah i might as well stop that old topic and replace it with "How to find acronyms online: If you know its exact spelling, try http://www.acronymfinder.com/default.asp?p=dict&String=exact&Acronym=***** ; if not, try to Ctrl-F on the page HH linked to."
PS Happy now, mg?

I think the F ones need to be kept, since they are used more often than many of the others, FCOL (for cryin' out loud).
And probably the Ragin' South Asian and CrystyB would agree, especially if one of them has a Citizens' Band radio.
Also, check out the Canonical Abbreviation/Acronym List. |

Well, my wife used to use PIA or PITA on lists, until they became well known. Now I told her to use HIWA (Head Interchangable With Ass) If someone asks, she can make something up, like "Has Interactive Working Abilities"...

I've seen g2g (got to go) a couple of times in GL C, I've not seen it elsewhere.
I use ROFLMAO roll on floor laughing my ass off.
okbridge (an internet bridge site) uses brb, and then just "b" for back, but it seems to be specific to that site

As a programmer, from time to time we need to ID 10t-proof some of our programs so users won't mess it up.
It means Idiot (ID1Ot) Proof. |
