If I were you I'd sweep it under the rug. And then I'd send a love letter to HyToFry.
I think I need to add an emoticon here:

| Jury duty is over. I didn't get selected, which means it was a complete waste of time. |

Ah, Texas. What a place!
Yeah, I go back for another day or two. For some stupid reason, I also told my boss I'd come in to work a few hours when I finished jury duty for the day. So, at work am I. For a few hours. |

| Do you have to go back? Here in Houston, if you aren't selected the first day, that's it. You're finished. |

| Well, day one of jury duty is over. I got called for one voir dire but didn't get selected for the jury. I actually would like to get selected, but not for this case. You wanna know what the case was? No? Well, I'll tell you anyway: Somebody fell and hurt himself on someone else's property. How cliche can you get? |

| Better yet, ask if you can have acess to the internet during the trial so that you can 'run some verdict ideas' by some of your friends on 'this really cool web-site'. That'll help I'm sure. |

OK!!!
He's gone! Let's talk about him. (Using only polite words, of course.)
Off to the recycle bin. |

strange, strange people...
murray, you just got back... and now you're going to leave again? =( please remember to think about us while you're gone... even if it something like "at least i'm on a jury with those freaks at the gl..." 'cause that way, at least you'll remember us =]
okay, making little sense now, so i'll shut up =] (thank god i'm not old enough for jury duty... i'd probably provide justification for a mistrial ;-> ) |

Show up in a white sheet with a white cone on your head. |

If you want to get out of it (I know you don't)..
Just tell them that you plan to "Do your duty" and make sure this guy is convicted. [= |

| While waiting to be called, tilt your head way to one side and drool and twitch a lot. You probably do that anyway. It'll help if you carry on a conversation with yourself - better yet, an argument laced with racial epithets. Good luck! |

I begin jury duty on Monday, so there's no telling how long I'll be away from a computer. Could be one day. Or, I could get sequestered and it might be months. I suspect it will be a few days.
Try not to break anything while I'm gone. |
