Tag® Revisited

The answer to my Tag® game was the number of letters, not numbers, question marks, full stops etc etc.

A full moon rises, as once again the letters turn dark brown, and ferociously claw their way back onto Werebear. Werebear is now It!

Beartalon grabbed the "IT" letters just floating in the air above Lepton's head, and balanced them on his nose.
"Easy as 1, 2, 3!" he growled, and wanted to toss them away. Like burrs, they stuck to his paw, and would not let go.

So Beartalon hid just out of sight near the entrance, sitting on his paws so the glowing "IT" wouldn't show, just waiting for the right person to say the wrong thing.

Look at me! I'm flying!

*blinks* Summons a Synapse Sliver to read Beartalon's mind. Or something.

Beartalon flicks his wrist, and the "IT" letters zip toward Ancagalon, unerring in flight and with the speed to cut him in two. As soon as they touch Ancagalon's skin, a brief flicker of light illuminates him. Split seconds later, Ancagalon runs up to xer0x and touches him.

xer0x and all his copies, are now "IT".

Neither of the bears are "IT" anymore, but they're fighting ferociously with SaberKitty over the hunnypot. Oh bother!

it... was... mine!! mine, you hear me, mine!! *waaaaah*!!!

I beg to be tagged by Saberkitty. I do, I do!

Grr @ Ancalagon.

xerox catches SaberKitty, and the IT tries to jump onto her. It succeeds, but like Teflon is slips and doesn't stay there for very long. Suddenly, there's a whining as Werebear appears, and the IT makes a mad dash and burows into his fur like a tick. Lepton doesn't get his wish. Werebear tags him, and suddenly Lepton feels this itchy sensation: fleas and IT from Werebear.

Scratching mightily, Lepton runs after the grumbling xer0x and hunny-eating SaberKitty. xerox slips by unscathed and un-flea-ed, SaberKitty's Teflon seems to have worn away. IT is attracted to her like, well, bees to honey. Luckily, the bees keep Werebear's fleas away.

Lepton runs away for a flea dip.

SaberKitty is now IT.

I'm going to post just one sentence in hopes that only posting one sentence is the only way to avoid being tagged.

I've never seen Tag rules solved so fast before, that is, assuming that the solution is correct.

Had Lepton only knew... The IT split itself into three parts, one for each set of elements in Lepton's sentence that got him tagged, and went into a dive formation. As skilled as RAF pilots, the three ITs got Lepton in the head, stomach and groin. Then flickering bolts of blue arced up his body until IT emblazoned itself on his forehead.

The battered Lepton lurched sideways, falling on Ancalagon. When Lepton rolled over groaining, he no longer had the IT on him. It was busy hopefully seeking one more piece in Ancalagon's sentence to hit him twice. Not finding it, IT settled on his forehead, flashing red from it's exertion.

Oh yay! The game's still going. SaberKitty if I poured hunny all over myself.... oh never mind.

Ancalagon hooks One Skunk Todd's ankle as he flys by through the labyrinth looking for SaberKitty. Tossing out his hands to stop his fall, OST looks down to see both are emblazoned with two ITs: one black and one blue. They merge onto his forehead like an wicked bruise.

Ancalagon scuttles away like a crab, eluding OST by a fraction of a second and is lost to the darkness. In the dim light from the wall sconces, One Skunk Todd broods over his new tattoo. Maybe if SaberKitty poured honey all over him, he'd feel better.

Surely hints aren't necessary? Count to three, repeat, but what are we counting?

Lepton skulks by One Skunk Todd who doesn't see him at all. He catches ChienFou though, asking perverted questions. The IT scrambles to find a place in the dog's fur, and OST is free for now from the IT.

ChienFou scratches mightily, but the fleas and IT are not going to go away.
