The 2001 tournament was won by Borschevsky (vs Sweetwater), the 2002 tournament died with the end in sight (Borschevsky-Coyote after the withdrawal of Sweewater in the semi match against Coyote).

Time to start for 2003.

I propose a slight change in set-up, a combination of round-robins. Say 16 players - first 4 groups with round-robin style (all play all twice), then the four group winners play a round-robin (all play twice) to determine the champion.

to avoid any probs I will be away from the GL from December 18 to January 13 due to my forthcoming marriage
