Alright, guess RE is out as well.

Here are the results:

1. Welcome to the Signmaker Game.

amb - In a book, a thesis, a gray labyrinth member monickered "teatowel comet" (o thesis of weird labyrinthian names) is to assign / make rolls for a mafia yoga meeting.
(196 + 49 + 16 + 30 + 25 = 316)

BraveHat - Towel commercials get others I greatly admire to the store, like inmates in the sick, ergotic prison of consumerism, which I am entering as we speak.
(36 + 36 + 9 + 9 + 16 + 9 + 20 + 25 = 160)

Lucky Wizard - I will see The Towel Comet, otherwise I am as ignorant as a golem, a kernel of corn, or a vehicle that uses an erg a meter.
(144 + 16 + 9 + 36 + 40 + 25 = 270)

mikegoo - We leave the Comet for both our master design makers and our aspiring amateurs.
(9 + 25 + 9 + 100 + 9 = 152)

--------------------

2. This sentence talks about itself.

amb - A behemoth is sent (encephalically) to an elf who plants beanstalks around a boxing match - of which it is said he beanstalks a bout (it's elf lingo okay, not good phraseology by any stretch of the imagination).
(144 + 256 + 60 + 25 = 485)

BraveHat - the fact that his senile costumer design stuck with a hat that costs ten cents, the fact that he's not short at all, and even the fact that he's fighting a bout with pneumonia, does not excuse his poor performance as the skit's elf.
(49 + 25 + 9 + 25 + 36 + 50 = 194)

Lucky Wizard - That hiss entertained me instead of making me get a lancet, alkaline chemicals, a fossa, bouncing balls, a few tits, or a mussel, frankly.
(81 + 49 + 25 + 16 + 9 + 20 + 25 = 225)

mikegoo - The cat hisses at ten centaurs, but would rather stalk savagely about alone, even if it is a bit selfish.
(36 + 25 + 36 + 36 + 10 = 143)

--------------------

3. Is this quiz what you expected?

amb - His quick fist, his quick wit, a fitz whacking fight in the line of duty, ousted his enemies sex-pecked ways, via his inate deterministic malevolent ways.
(81 + 16 + 16 + 25 + 9 + 10 + 25 = 182)

BraveHat - She loved her therapist, his questions as sweet as a ziti zweiback, and he loved projecting his sophisticated english at young girls who were, not having matured in their understanding of the opposite sex, peculiarly smitten with his ornate doctor-talk.
(64 + 9 + 36 + 25 + 9 + 20 + 25 = 188)

Lucky Wizard - An atheist hid a squid, so I need a few haters of society to carry out a plan to cast a hex, pecking, on the guy who whats to defeat educators.
(25 + 16 + 16 + 9 + 25 + 9 = 100)

mikegoo - Having to list his qualities seemed a bit low hat, perhaps even suspect education.
(64 + 16 + 25 + 20 = 125)

--------------------

4. Roses are red and violets are blue.

amb - Novels and proses; a re-redundandant form of writing, resurging in the sixties because of an instrument (a band viol) evilly used to beat a tsar excitedy, but dying again because of poor rehab ludicrously informing them that reading is evil.
(121 + 64 + 25 + 9 + 30 = 249)

BraveHat - As if speaking to a pro, sesame seed bun experts said, "Reread that dandy handbook about our bun dough, and let sarcastic fast food cooks replace it with something we found on the web: lu extract.
(36 + 16 + 16 + 36 + 25 + 20 = 147)

Lucky Wizard - The morose saint saw a car ere dandelions were destroyed, so the whole tsar etching was a message referring to dumb luck.
(36 + 64 + 64 + 9 + 20 = 193)

mikegoo - Red loose stick huts are rarer edifices than scarlet sack cloth tents are.
(16 + 36 + 25 = 77)

--------------------

5. The last one is easy.

amb - As tone is heard - I came upon a seaside brothel - as tone; I, seas yell (roar), did hear; a mistake - t'was not the brothel I heard but the merry sound of the waves.
(256 + 40 + 25 = 321)

BraveHat - With elavator music who's screeches could scratch a stone, we've decided to install (big suprise) a symphonic music recording.
(25 + 25 + 36 + 20 + 25 = 131)

Lucky Wizard - Both elastic bands need to neither be here nor be there, or they will
disrupt the sea synergically. (49 + 16 + 25 + 10 + 25 = 125)

mikegoo - What he lased made a sound he later described tone wise as yellow due to the color he saw as well.
(36 + 16 + 36 + 30 + 25 = 143)

--------------------

Total scores for round 1:

amb - 316 + 485 + 182 + 249 + 321 = 1553
BraveHat - 160 + 194 + 188 + 147 + 131 = 820
Lucky Wizard - 270 + 225 + 100 + 193 + 125 = 913
mikegoo - 152 + 143 + 125 + 77 + 143 = 640

Next round:

1. Blue hues amongst antiquated ruddy-reds combine together to create dynamic crimson-like purple.

2. For he's a jolly good fellow, which nobody can deny.

3. I request that you cease anything which might jeopardize the idea.

4. The kids who went to the zoo viewed aardvarks and lemurs.

Send entries for all except yours (actually, everyone can do their own as well, if yall want). Deadline is September 1.

Why aren't the moniker "teatowel comet" and The Towel Comet considered proper nouns?

A lot of greylabyrithian names are not propercase anyway - even mikegoo is lower case, but there is no reason my sentence required to use a grey labyrinth member's name. I could have said I invented a teatowel comet (O thesis of weird names)... and still been okay.

amb, you're thinking of the last game we played. In this game, as long as there is at least ONE different broken space in the new string, it's legal.

You could also have said... monickered "welcometothesi"... and it would have made as much sense in your sentence. Had you actually said "I invented a teatowel comet" I wouldn't have had a problem. What you could have done and what you did are completely different. You used "teatowel comet" as a name for a unique individual which is pretty much the definition of a proper noun...I think

I'm really not concerned about the points...I'm just trying to figure out what will be legal for round 2.

Ruling: The words themselves are not necessarily "proper". While they are probably being used in that way in those sentences (I don't know, I'm not the Grammar Police ), the, um, spirit of the signmaker is preserved (as opposed to making up a name like Ecometo or something).

Ok why does MikeGoo get a 25 point bonus for...

"mikegoo - We leave the Comet for both our master design makers and our aspiring amateurs.
(9 + 25 + 9 + 100 + 9 + 25 = 177)"

...when he is missing the final E from the sentence (look back at the entries in bold)

Last thing...coining our own words (like beanstalking) is ok as long as they sort of make sense?

Yeah... that one I thought was ok because it sounds like it would be found in English, and all the words are English. And it was pretty clever.
