The answer was the famous writer/director from Hong Kong, Wong Kar Wai.

OK, this next stumper isn't entirely fair. I didn't even know it until less than an hour ago. I only learned it b/c my roommate recently purchased the Futurama 1st Season DVD set and I just finished watching the second episode. If this is against the rules then ignore the following stumper.

Stumper: Are you the fictional female character from Futurama who is often drawn wearing what appear to be pink sweatpants and a pink zipperered midriff baring sweatshirt?
