~launches into Helpy Helperton mode once again~

I've never actually played go, but I've read the rules. Basically, the point is to capture islands of your enemy's pieces by surrounding them with your own so that they can't expand any further.

~leaves Helpy Helperton mode~

You can capture, but the point is actually just to section off territory for yourself. Whoever has the most territory at the end is more important than who's made the most captures.

pete, starts another GO thread for us. I'll play ya.

I have to go get something to eat right now though, I might be back on later.

I wish Hy would make me that 19x19 board. I really really want to play the big board.

But I've been playing Go for years, and to me it's just like Connect 4, only it's Connect 5, cos Go is the Japanese word for 5. :S

I think it would be easier for us to play it like that.

I'll submit my next move for each tomorrow, I'm not in a thinking mood right now. ^_^

*snogs to keep you going til then*

No, you should have 4 pieces on the Go board by now, you definitely need to move (Chess too, check in edit if ya don't think so, the moves don't make an even number)

I loved the poem honey, it was amazing. ^_^

What?!?!? How the.... oh I never saw that coming. That is the shortest game of chess I ever played, in terms of moves made rather than time taken. Well done my dear. 0_o Showing me up like that...

I'll make my Go move when I'm in a more sporting mood.

In the spirit of puzzle #84 (Einstein's Challenge), here are some relations between the names, nationalities, fav. colours (=house colour), fav. fruits, fav. numbers and fav. TV Channel of six houses on a rectangular street oriented alongside the 45th parallel:

Charles' french neighbour usually watches HBO.
The Japanese lives between the ones that enjoy Apples and Strawberries.
The green house is situated west of the blue banana-filled one.
Andrew watches ABC, and lives next-door to the person having 28 pieces in all his collections.
Betty is not the one living in between that 28-freak and the Chinese.
Charles lives next to Diana.
The one eating lots of pears while watching Fox lives next to the one watching Channel4.
The one watching RTL lives west of the American.
The German lives next to the one who always answers '42'.
The one with boxes of oranges in his garage lives next to the Violet house.
The '42' person lives east of Betty.
The one who likes to eat strawberries lives next to the Channel4.
Ernest, the one that lives in the green house and has 10 as his fav. number lives right next to the red house.
The violet house is in between the american's and that in which the TV is always on ABC.
In the house west of the Japanese you will always find at least one bunch of 6 bananas (but usually more bunches of 6 bananas).
Yellow house is in between the White one and that of the HBO customer.
The one eating Cherrys really likes the number 7.

Though i have mentioned nothing of Fiona, or the one with 3 as fav. number, the Brit or the one watching CNN, i'd like you to completely fill out all of the 'map' of the houses on that street.
