[shameless plug]
Over the past few weeks, Mrs Phoenix and I have been busy updating our websites.

We have created a new starting page for my wife's art site and added a number of new paintings in her Shanghai series.

My list of all-time favorite songs has been revised and extended, and now contains 130 songs in the top 100. (Yeah, I know).

The newest addition, the Dragon's lair, has been substantially extended, and although some things still need to be added, it is now reasonably complete.

Any feedback on these sites is welcome!

Well let me be the first to stomp on your site then
Just kidding, though you *do* need to work on your html.(in the dragon's lair that is) have you tried looking at your site with Netscape? the pics and text overlap, it seems your tables are a bit off (Netscape has that tendence to mess them up).
Aside from ythat it looks good. Well readable, both in content as in make-up. Keep up the good work.

yay Opera!

I simply Love the sites.
...and if I didn't have such respect for you, I'd probably shamelessly use the background from your site as my wallpaper.

I hate to sound stupid, but one gets used to it after a while.

Do I just have a crappy browser, or is everything on your Music pages printed with yellow text on a white background? (I'm using IE4.)

It's impossible to read...I have to highlight all the text to find out what it says.

If the problem is on my end, can anyone reading this tell me how fix the problem? (Anything short of dumping IE4 and getting something else, if you please!)

The dragon that follows the mouse (hmm, where did you get that... ) has a black background that blocks the background, and its kinda jumpy instead of flowing smoothly. Other than that it looks good.

I found out that my PC at work has the same problem for my music site (but not for the DP site). At home, I have no problem as both the background color and the background pattern load very well for all three sites. Bright suggestions? Is it indeed the programme that you use for viewing web sites?

And Courk, yes, I probably should have thanked you for the walking red dragon on my site as well - will do at a revision. And I will probably change the first page to a fully black background to accomodate the comments on the difference between cursor and background. The lack of smoothness is also something I need to look into. I have built these sites without any computer knowledge, just using the Geocities pagebuilder.

Thanks for the feedback. I have made some small corrections to the DP site, and I have deleted the background in favor of light colours and dark red text for the music site. That should work for all browsers.....
