As down breaks, the body of Dragon Phoenix was found dead in his house. Records in his house show that he was the "mason". Is this the prenomition of the town's doom?
Final day!!! Vote, 3 for jury!

Taf, think about it, we have the god father left (if there are two mafia left then the town has already lost), your investigations mean nothing right now, so just because Zephyr came up innocent doesn't mean he is.
That is, if you arn't the godfather yourself and are lying.
My FOS lands on Sparhawk right now. His only alibi so far has been that ChienFou found him innocent, and re-reading the posts the only thing he has initiated on his own is first voting for pika the day he got lynched.

| Assuming we only have the godfather left, (if not, we have lost anyway) it cannot be me as the godfather cannot change roles and I have been verified as an original mason. |

Here is the way that I see it now. We know that Taflinel (former Nurse) and Zephyr (former Mason) are innocent. We know that there is only one mafia left (or we would have lost already) and that person is the godfather. Therefore, either Sparhawk or Tyenar are the godfather.
Now, I know that am not the godfather. I also know that statement has no value because there is no way that I can prove it. Therefore, I will vote Tyenar. I expect that Tyenar will vote for me, since any other vote would be stupid.
It is up to Taflinel and Zephyr to determine what to do. If they believe I am the godfather, they should vote for me. If they believe that Tyenar is the godfather, then they should vote for him.
If they don't vote then no one will get lynched today. While that doesn't lose us the game, it gets one of them killed and the other one is back in the same position tomorrow. So I don't see any value in that unless they have some way of getting more information.

I do have to add for clarity's sake that I was not a nurse. I acted like that because as a cop I had checked mudster and I knew he was evil. Luckily mole came to back this up...
Sparhawk: Your logic seems valid. I read the thread once more and I'll take the risk to
Vote: Sparhawk
I just hope I'm right...

After rereading the thread I have to agree with Taflinel. Sparhawk seemed to be the most suspicious, especially in the beginning (although Tyenar made a strong showing at the end).
Unless I miss my guess, Sparhawk never voted for a mafia member while Tyenar voted for both Samadhi and DPW. Since the godfather knew his mafia...

While I won't argue the logic of people voting for or against me since I don't expect anyone to listen to me, I couldn't believe that I hadn't voted for any mafia in this game. So I went back and checked. It turns out that Zephyr is correct. However, I would like to point out that we have only actually lynched two mafia all game (that also surprised me) I have to take back what I said about the vigilante -- without him, we would have already lost this game.

After found to have voted unanimously, Taflinel, Tyenar and Zephyr gang up on Sparhawk. "You're voted out, so give it up mafia scum. We have you."
"You have nothing!" snapped Godfather Sparhawk as he pulled out his gun.
"Click."
...
Congrats to the winners, townies Zephyr and Tyenar, and cop Taflinel, in getting the last mafia scum hanging on the tree. Also thanks to all players for bearing with me, da incompetent mod. Sorry for all the mix-ups. (hey, it is my first game after all) |

If you don't mind me commenting on this game...
The mafia were actually blind (ie don't know each other) although I purposely did not state this explicitly. Only the Godfather and so-called Ringleader knew who the mafia were. I also allowed the Godfather and Ringleader to converse at night, plus the Godfather had two votes. They also kept their roles for the whole game.I kind of expected the other mafia to use their "powers of deduction" to guess who the mafia were and vote for the obvious targets, like those the mafia vote for lynching or confirmed roles. Big mistake. Godfather's vote overwrited the others for almost the whole game.
One of my slip-ups was that I revealed aa few characteristics of the mafia accidentally in the thread. Sorry, deceased maf. :-P
About other roles, AP the insane cop ironically only got his first false reading on the night of his death. Pity. I was hoping he would get to do some damage first.
Drunkard was my favorite role. He was kind of a scrapegoat though. Although he's on the madman's side, he doesn't know!
BTW... ISE filter doesn't kick in when there's an extra carriage return... and am I the only one experiencing an increase of ISEs lately? :-/ |

Good game. My only complaint was that it dragged on at times. I would have preferred shorter deadlines for voting during the day.
The mafia came close to pulling it out. I don't know how the townsfolk felt, but I always felt like the mafia were losing. Losing DPW early hurt, and it seemed like we always had too few mafia left compared to townsfolk. The vigilante was definitely effective; I was really hoping to get him lynched. |

WOW!!!
We won!!!
Congratulations town!!!!!!
I have to admit this was a very nice concept with lots of logic traps but as it has been said, some deadlines were a little longer than they should. The important subject is that another "Experimental" mafia type worked out very well...
I have to say that I didn't think I'd survive this and that there was no possibility that Soothy was a cop. I was lucky in some choices but I think that last choice was nice...
Two in a row then (38 and 39) for me. I don't think I'll make it in Verbose Mafia though...
Thanx to Acer for modding...
Thanx to all players...
CU in the next one...
