The inhabitants of this rapidly dwindling communtiy awake in this morning to find that All of them have survived the night. Ameb was attacked, but he had the protection of an elder. Lucky him.

The town breathes a collective sigh of relief that they are not reduced by one, but now their job is more difficult still, for finding the last Maleferino will be no easy task...

It is day, 9 people left:

Ameb
Tyenar
Lucky Wizard
Puzzle Prodigy
Crackerjack
Nauplius
Jadesmar
Soothsayer
Groza528

5 to lynch...

Well, since I've declared Ameb a townie, it's pretty clear we elders didn't just protect each other Why bother when we know the Mafia will expect us too? Anyway, while I protected Ameb, the other elder checked Soothsayer, who is innocent. Going on a hunch from one of our group:
vote: Tyenar

In the midst of the morning, many of the elves are already debating the person they think to be the remaining Malerferino. Tyenar's name is put forth, and seconded. It may be a short day, or other things might be revealed...

Elven Elder Ameb sits in a chair, eyeing the scroll he acquired a day ago. It is rather disconcerting to have the power to decide someone's death. He walks over and picks up the scroll. He looks over the words on the scroll... words of power. He knows that he only needs to speak the words and the name of his target... Is it right to use it without knowing for sure? But it fits so perfectly. It just makes sense. Tyenar
must be evil! With a deep breath, Ameb begins the chant, adding in Tyenar's name where he must. With the culmination of the spell, and the end of it, the scroll disappears in a puff of smoke. It is done. Now there he has only to check to see what the death of Tyenar reveals.

As Ameb leaves his home, he walks determinedly toward Tyenar's house. Looking up as he passes, many of the other elves follow. Tyenar, who was still at home, lies cold, stiff, and dead upon his floor, eyes staring up at nothing. It is a chilling scene, but moreso because of the surroundings. The entire structure looks like a dungeon. Tortuous implements, iron spikes lining the walls, sharp knives and other weapons hung from pegs made of human skeletons. It is enough to make many of the townsfolk leave before they become sick. Yes, it is chilling, but also gratifying, because it is obvious that the Maleferino have been eradicated. The threat is over, peace may be restored!

Even as the last few Elves leave the scene, Ameb still stays. Tonight, he knew, there would be celebration. But he would not celebrate. It was over, but at a great price. Five who fell to evil ways, and the deaths of their victims weighed heavily upon him. A fellow elder gone. No, he would not celebrate. Tonight, he would remember...

TOWN WINS!!!!!!!!!!!TOWN WINS!!!!!!!!!!!TOWN WINS!!!!!!!!!!!TOWN WINS!!!!!!!!!!!TOWN WINS!!!!!!!!!!!TOWN WINS!!!!!!!!!!!

Tyenar was the last Maleferino Mafia. Ameb and Groza were Elders. Everyone else is town.

I don't think it was so town biased as all that. If you people had played the "You can talk to whomever you want and say whatever you want" angle from the very beginning, i think you could have easily confused enough people to have kept them from killing you day after day...

I actually wish that this had been a large signup, i think it would have worked better to have more than one mafia family and maybe the scrolls would've fallen to one of them... I think i'll do this again, but in a larger signup. There are other roles i might have introduced as well. It has loads of potential, this game

I didn't realize that you could talk to whomever whenever you wished. I think it did bias things in favor of the town, but it would be interesting to see if it works in a large signup with multiple killing groups.

We elders (mostly Ameb) claim bragging rights for leading the town to such a victory. What other town can claim to kill five Mafia in four lynches?
