And as I watched, quercitron bared his fangs and sank them deep into papaboolie's neck. As papa writhed in misery, Quailman pulled out his pistol to end his misery. As I watched, they looked up to face me. Quailman asked quercitron, "By the way, what should we do about that annoying person who's been working with the police all this time?" When they started grimly approaching me, I started to run, but before I could get far, I felt a sharp pain in my ----

quercitron gagged as he stepped away from the corpse. "He's been dead for a few days, and I hate stale blood. Maybe those Egyptian artefacts he was carrying sustained him somehow? It doesn't matter."

Congratulation Q&Q

Rather ironic - I killed Quercitron early in the game as Count Dracula, he takes over from me and wins...

How fitting that the Godfather and Count Dracula are the two sole survivors of this game.

What about the mummy hogwash? I don't want to look for it, but didn't the Egyptologists believe you to be a mummy?

Heh, checked the Godfather first night. Go figure.

Oh when you two Q's killed us, did either of you realize we still had our full investigative powers? Or were you simply killing a known innocent?

Mole didn't give me all the information about the people who were killed before I started, but here's what I do know:

jeep, jesternl, MikeAmok, DPW, Quailman (Mafia): standard mafia. GF Quailman had the standard immunity from investigation and protection from one kill/night.

DP / querctiron II (Dracula) could kill or recruit each night. It would take two attempts to recruit somebody, but they didn't have to be consecutive. Also, twice per game, Dracula could retarget Renfield. He wins by eliminating everyone except Lucy, Renfield, and any of his converts. He was protected from one non-Helsing kill per night.

Cadmium (Lucy Westerna) was the vampire spy. Each night she checked one person and learned the details of that person's role. If she targeted Dracula, she lost her investigative ability and joined him. On night 5 she checked Corsato and learned he was Renfield. Night 6, she found Dracula.

Corsato (Madman Renfield) got a kill every night, but it just happened to be blocked on alternating nights. If Seward targeted him, he became an investigator looking for Dracula, and his goal became a town victory. He could win with Dracula, or by getting Dracula and everyone else killed.

Porro (SY / monster) had a 20% chance of killing his target while Frankenstein lived. After Frankenstein's death, he reverted to normal. (The bit about Werebear's neck being broken was the same as from quercitron I's death.)

Ferris (Van Helsing) was protected from vampires, and had two stakes, not one, and they were effective on everyone but the GF & SK.

LoopyDog, ralphmerridew, crazycellist, Werebear, and Popaboolie (Egyptologists) were telling the truth about their role. Each night an innocent was lynched, there was a 20% chance a random member would die. cc was killed by the curse for IS' death.

IS (Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde, doctor/evil doctor): Each night he tried to protect one person, but there was a chance he'd turn into Mr. Hyde and kill his target instead. At the start, I believe there was a 10% chance of transforming, which went up by 5% each time he transformed. When that happened, he would be notified of the change and that he would be evil for the next day. (As far as the curse was concerned, Jekyll was good, Hyde evil.) On night 5, he protected cc from the retargeted Renfield.

Jonathan was a standard investigator; he learns role & abilities of the target. If he targeted the same person as Dracula, he would go insane (get random results) for one night if Seward was present, and three nights otherwise.

...the big question - was Porro doing any kills? I would guess not. I couldn't believe you lynched him. Mind you, he was second on my list of suspicious characters, but how could you let the claimed MUMMY go?! Ah well.

Oh, one other thing - why did Crazycellist die?? I didn't think we lynched an innocent, and our email stated that 'there was a chance one of us would die if an innocent was lynched'

Sweet.

Well played Quailman. Too bad the Serial Killer still hasn't won a GL game, but I wasn't really a true Serial Killer, what with Westrena and Renfield on my side.

I find it amusing that you all believed I really was the Mummy, but lying about my allegiance.

Anyway, Don Q, we will meet again sometime. For now, you can have Upper London. I want the Underground.

Oh, yeah, we all believed you were the mummy. But I have no idea why others believed your allegiances. *laugh* Well played. Excellent.

Victory for the family!

I'm almost sorry I tried to get Quail lynched to take over leadership of the family!

But I'm not at all sorry about having killed L'layne. Vengeance is mine at last!

Well DPW, its a good thing for you that L'layne died that night; they were investigating you the night they died.

I must say, the game was very close. The town had a very good chance after the two arrests, but had some very bad luck right after that.

Also, mole mentioned that the game had some interesting scenarios involving Mina & Jonathan, but didn't go into further detail. (Mina was dead, and I'd gotten two kill orders against Jonathan.) I'll try to get him to post the rest of the roles.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson had investigative roles, plus they knew each other. Watson could act as a doctor or a cop, and Holmes was a forensic detective as well as a cop.

Mina could investigate every second night. If she was recruited by Dracula, the other Dracula characters [Jonathan, Van Helsing, Dr Seward] could protect her instead of their usual actions, and she, like Renfield, would gain clues to Dracula's identity and movements through the city.

The Detectives were basic cops, the Serial Killer was just your average SK.

Oh, since this is now over (go us for the tie!)... I had totally forgotten I was mafia in this game until I checked my role in order to make my claim. Also, at that time, I had no really good way of knowing that this was themed. The original sign-up had disappeared and in the new one, there was no mention of werewolves, etc... *shrug*
