You somehow added ?[reply number] to the url of a thread. The problem is as far as I know it does no good; in fact, it does bad! If you refresh the page and someone replies to a thread you visited, then it looks like the link to the thread is one you never visited before! I know this because I replied to Wheel of Fortune, and the link changed its color back when I refreshed. Fix this if possible.

Before now the different colors of threads I've visited actually made them call attention to me, and I'd visit them. Now I may not notice them and give them a passing glance!

Hy's been very busy (it seems to me) trying very hard to add changes which are going to benefit the GL, not to mention plenty of time wasted on deleting threads in the 'Will episode'. I'm sure glad someone's been so active in continually maintaining and improving the boards.

Time enough for a big 'thankyou' to Hy, and to everyone else who's behind the scenes.

Ah, now I see why you did it. It does quite a bit of good! I think having the URL without the reply # forward you to the URL with the reply # is a good idea; it will exactly emulate our current format without the problem I brought up.
