Since so many of us draw diagrams when we solve puzzles, it'd be nice if the posting software didn't compress multiple spaces into one. (Or could this be the fault of my browser?)
Bob, who just posted an answer with a useless-looking diagram. |

Since this forum supports html, I wonder if you could use the preformated text tags.
I don't remember how to do that though. It's been a long time since I've used html for anything.

You can type "& n b s p" (without the spaces) if you want a blank space. Though this doesn't help with making diagrams.

the html code would be < pre>text< /pre>,
but this forum doesnt support html, only ubb code. In ubb code just right [ code][ /code] without the spaces of course, and put your text in between. hope that helps!
let me give it a try
code:
......
........
........
......

The ubb idea sounds like the easiest way to do it -- but I would never have figured it out on my own. I've never heard of ubb outside of this forum, and have to admit I'm not likely to remember that many codes unless I use them often.
Personally, I'd rather not have to do any extra work at all...
Bob
code:

You know, even if it's a hastle, I like the way that the code offsets the diagram
code:
| | | |
|__| o o
| | | \_/
| | |
I wonder if I got the code right. I didn't pay much attention, and I'm really just guessing. Hmmm... I'll see when I go back, eh?
