As near as I can tell from DP's email, the game is over, and the good citizens of Lancre win. <insert cheering here>.

Now, if anybody disputes this, please email mafia_mod. I'll wait a while then post DP's email.

My apologies to Corsato. I missed a line of your role description You should not have been detected.

Yeah! Now who's up for a night of drinking? Does anybody remember the 12th verse of "The Hedgehog Can Never Be Buggered At All"?

I do have to say I feel kinda scummy for leading the town to win on a mod mistake (re: Corsato's detection). Was Corsato the Elf Queen, or did the final Elf just gain immunity to investigations?

Odd. With only 16 players and (from what it seems) no major investigators/doctors besides the Coven I would have guessed either 4 regular elves or 3 elves, one being the Queen, but I'm not DP. Also, I have a tendency to see that a Godfather/mother's immunities only last while there are other normal mafia, but again my beliefs aren't absolute, and DP could have planned differently.

Edited because "Three elves and a Queen" was what the mafia setup was.

I was kind off surprised to be detected. My whole plan was based on leaving Beaudoin alive and to be cleared by him . But there's no use crying over spilled milk

Congrats to the town, my position was hopeless anyway...couldn't even figure out a good role to claim .

Sadly enough our choices where not very good (and I was on vacation for at least one night??). Too much kills were blocked . The reasons I chose for you instead of the others is just a matter of deduction:
- I couldn't kill Amb, because of you.
- I wasn't sure about Porro's ability to protect himself, so I took no chances.
- I needed Beaudoin alive so he could find me innocent. (wow.....that backfired )
- Vegtable2001 and Wordcross had a less convincin role then you, making it more easy for me to stay alive.
- That leaves you

WITCHES

Granny Weatherwax = Gaspode RIP
Nanny Ogg = Quercitron/Beaudoin
Agnes (Perdita) Nitt = Beaudoin RIP
Magrat = amb/Crackerjack2 took over from Agnes upon
her death

You are Lancres hope now that the Elfs are back. At
night you can make a choice what to do (two out of
three):

* investigate someone (answer ELF/NOT ELF)
* heal someone GIVEN UP
* kill someone

Choose which powers you want to use and which of the
three of you will use that power (and the name of your
targets of course). If your coven gets reduced to two,
you must also permanently give up one of these three
powers (email me your choice - MODS NOTE: Gave up
healing) and can wield only one power. Should you be
reduced to one, you must select which power to keep
(email me your choice).

MAGRAT GARLIC = amb
You used to be a witch, but are now the queen of
Lancre. At the start of the game, you have no special
powers. However, if King Verence gets killed, you take
over his powers. Alternatively, should one of the
witches get killed, you will take over from her.
Whichever happens first.
MODS NOTE: IS NOW A WITCH

KING VERENCE II = Porro
You are the king of this mountainous country. You have
the power of daytime execution as often as you like
during the game. Should you want to execute a player,
use the words "Lancre" and "trouble" in your post as
well as the name of your choice.
MODS NOTE: HIS CLAIMS IN THE THREAD DO NOT MATCH HIS
REAL ROLE

GREEBO = Crackerjack RIP
You are Nanny Ogg's cat who can (and in this game
will) assume human form during the day. At night, you
can kill someone any time you feel like it. Email me
your choice if you wish

GIAMO CASANUNDA = Dragon Slayer RIP
You are the worlds second greatest lover. Your
persistence, combined with the fact that you are a
dwarf, will surprise anyone you court (be it man,
woman, elf or whatever) so much that they will not be
able to carry out their original plans for the night.
Email me your choice (whom you are going to court)
every night.

SHAWN OGG = Xeno
As the palace guard, anyone who wants to kill the
royals has to get past you. That is... if you would
know who they are. You have the choice every night:
choose someone to protect (if you choose a royal, the
protection will work, if not, no protection) or
investigate a name and get the answer royal/not royal.
MODS NOTE: PROTECTING QUEEN MAGRAT WORKS EVEN IF SHE
BECOMES A WITCH

ELVES
LEONIDAS
CORSATO
JEEP RIP
KAZOOISH RIP
Rotten stinking elves, who like to play with their
victims before killing them. Yup that's you. You kill
once a night. Corato is your queen and cannot be
detected. Email me your choice of victim as well as
who of you will do the killing.

Mrs. Scorbic, the cook = DAN
You are a townie, but a DP townie without abilities
does not exist of course. Once in the game you can
poison someone - send me the name of your victim if
you want to do this.
MODS NOTE: NOT DONE YET

Jason Ogg, blacksmith = WORDCROSS
You are a townie, but a DP townie without abilities
does not exist of course. Once in the game you can
choose to spend the night shoeing Binky (Deaths
horse). That night you are immune from night kills.
Email me when you want to do so.
MODS NOTE: NOT DONE YET

HODGESAARRGGHH, the falconer = VEGTABLE2001
You are a townie, but a DP townie without abilities
does not exist of course. Once in the game you can
sleep with your falcons and thus be immune from any
night time attack. Email me when you want to do so.
MODS NOTE: NOT DONE YET

Mr. Brooks, the beekeeper = POLOTET RIP
You are a townie, but a DP townie without abilities
does not exist of course. Once in the game you can
decide to send your bees out to sting sommeone. Your
target will not be able to vote the next day. Email me
when you want to do so.

I know it's generally bad form to lie to the town if you're a good guy, but I made an exception in this instance because I believed it would be helpful...if all else failed, and it came down to myself, a mafioso, and another good-guy, I hoped the mafioso would be concerned enough about my night invunerability claim to kill the other good-guy overnight (rather than risk wasting it on me), I would then be able to kill the mafioso the next day.

...oh, and if they didn't believe me, and killed me earlier in the game, I believed that amb would inherit my real ability, so it'd have no greater benefit to them than if I was just a townie.

...who'd have thought amb became a witch instead :/

If anything, four elves in 16 players was on the high side - although the coven with shared info (and a back-up) was supposed to counterweigh this. But if you want to win the game as mafia, the first thing is to make sure you get your night choices in.

If town lost, I would have blamed myself, I didn't pay as much attention as I should have to this game, but I was saving my ability until I was absolutely sure, and then I missed my own lynching (Corsato was first on my list I think ).
