My point was that it'd be a good idea to get the 'guilty looking townie' out of the way if possible, i.e. lynch me today. However, if the town loses if another townie is lynched (which someone later pointed out is the case), then you'd better lynch someone other than me today, i.e. a mafioso.

I placed the vote because both Courk and Quagmire stated the most
suspicious in their minds was Porro.
I was not placing any importance on DMTsure's opinion.

I was of 2 minds......courk or porro, when I voted.
I knew that if I was wrong & Courk and Quagmire are both Mafia and Porro is innocent,
with my initial vote C and Q would have placed the 2 deciding votes by now.

At this stage I still beleive Porro is mafia.

I want to vote Porro, but I just get this feeling that maybe you and Quagmire are working together. You voted porro first with the idea that when your mafia buddy didn't vote him, you could say, "See? he's mafia, they won't vote him." And then when I place my vote, quag jumps on and kills him.

I think I addressed this, though. Maybe in my incoherent post.

If Porro turns out to be mafia (he only has 2 votes, you know), then I can next to guarantee that at least one of these two is mafia.

If anything, I would label these guys as the mafiosos because they're quick to bandwagon Porro.

other Mafia? Not Quagmire, or the day would be over.

2........... If Porro is guilty, one tactic is for the other Mafia to vote him/her to save himself from suspicion.....IE, Myself or Courk
The other tactic is try to save him/her by placing a vote with either
myself or Courk............................IE, Quagmire.


If I presume myself and Porro are innocent.... Courk is my guess at being the other Mafia.
If I presume Porro is guilty and myself innocent I place either Courk

As saving a fellow Mafia when there is another day to fight seems desperate tactics,
my choices still seem to be Porro or Courk.

If I mistakenly interpreted the bold quote as can we No-lynch, my apologies.
It was clear to me, and I thought to all of us that we need to lynch
A mafia today. The post seemed at the time like a desperate try
when I for 1 had not decided who to vote for yet, and Porro hadn't
placed his vote porro/Unvote Porro .

I'm innocent. None of you (well, 2 of you) know that. None of you should even accept this as fact, but this is a post about my logic, so I get to use this fact.

Porro is mafia.
a. I don't think Max is mafia because he had the opportunity to vote me but didn't. In a situation like that I doubt mafia would vote against another mafia.

2. Porro is innocent.
Max isn't mafia because the mafia haven't come forward to kill Porro. With 2 votes on Porro for a while now, he'd be dead. Even if max were mafia, the 2nd mafia would have come forward to kill Porro.

My conclusion: Max isn't mafia. And, since Porro isn't dead, he is mafia.

This leaves us with DMT and Quag as possible mafia.

Quag is defending Porro, and DMT hasn't done anything. I'm leaning toward Quag as mafia.

How much longer do we have to wait to find out?

I am not defending Porro at all.

I am merely stating that I believe MadMax is mafia because he was quick to get on the porro bandwagon. If everyone believes that Porro should be lynched, I will have no problem with it, as long as they're good. I just think that Courk and MadMax could be mafia because Porro isn't snagging that third vote to win the game for the mafia if Porro is innocent.

If Porro is guilty, I would be happy to put that final vote on. If he's not, well, then we've made a big mistake in letting the mafia win this game.

Although I am for SURE that either MadMax or Courk is mafia. They both might be in Courk is innocent, or if Porro is mafia, then one of them is. I am willing to risk it all and put the final vote on porro right here, right now if anyone wants me to.

1. Innocent is targeted by both mafias
2. Mafia is targeted by 2 innocents and 2nd mafia won't vote for his colleague.

I know I'm innocent, so #1 is out.

I'm sure there have been instances in the past when a mafia has held back on casting a deciding vote in order to look innocent, particularly when the know that the victim is a townie. So it's crap logic to ignore that option.

...though as you say, if a townie dies today, then the town loses, so a mafia would only (probably) hold back from placing such a vote out of error.

And with three votes, Courk has been selected as possibly the final lynch target of the town of [INSERT NAME OF ISOLATED TOWN HERE]. Resigned to her fate, Porro, Quagmire2, and MadMax drag Courk to the gallows. Oddly, DMTsurel doesn't seem to be around to watch the show. The town wonders where he went...

Courk has a rope strung around her neck. With one swift pull of a lever, Courk is lynched.

Quagmire2 and Porro sigh with relief, certain that at last a basic mafia member has been lynched. However, there is a strange smirk on the face of MadMax.

"MadMax?" inquired Quagmire2. "What's with that weird look?"

Suddenly, MadMax shouts, "NOW!" DMTsurel appears from behind a house, pulls out a tommy gun, and mows down the suddenly dismayed Quagmire2 and Porro. They are quickly and violently slain.

In the ensuing silence, MadMax and DMTsurel approach each other. They give each other one long, silent look, then DMTsurel pulls a note out of his pocket and rests it on the corpse of Porro. Then they leave the town, never to return. The note reads:

"Basic is better..."

Congratulations to MadMax and DMTsurel for a flawless victory! The mafia win! Please begin your post-game commentary now.

I was watching today's action, and cringing so badly, because I was like "Oh no! Courk is lynched and now Porro and Quagmire have won!"

I was sooo sure, given Quag's behaviour, that he and Porro were mafia together.

Yeah, at first while reading today I thought Porro was innocent, because I thought that for sure the Mafia had killed me in order to try and frame him.

But then, as I read on, well, Porro didn't seem scummy, but Quagmire did, and he was standing up for Porro. I thought maybe he was inexperienced or something, and it was showing up on the last day.

So yeah, when I saw people voting for Courk, I was like "NO YOU FOOLS! VOTE FOR PORRO!" Ahehehehe... All of a sudden I'm glad I didn't survive till the last day.

I must admit, the longer it went on with those two votes on me, the more I thought Courke and MadMax were the mafia.

I presume DMT was just absent, hence not casting the final vote...the thought had occurred to me when I posted above that the voters on me may be 1 maf, 1 town.
