Overly Flashy vs Overly Stupid. I can hardly wait to see who wins this one.

FBDO is one of my favorite comedies. Top 5. But The Matrix was such a tight package. I read nothing about it before seeing it and only had seen Morpheus saying something like "One can not be told what the matrix is"....
It was such a nice developing story, I even remember thinking "oh yeah, well what about this..." and then about some time in the film that question would be answered. It is, IMO, a very deep film. Also, super fun to watch.

The Matrix is with out a doubt one of my all time top 5 cinematic experiences. Probably closer to #1.

Matrix, no contest. I have seen FBDO, and although in general I prefer comedies, this movie did not do much to me.

Keanu Reeves ruined the Matrix.

Garrh. Ferris = YAY, but come on, it's the flipping MATRIX. This is so not fair...I wanted to see Ferris advance. Now it doesn't have a chance. Melancholy

Every time I hear The Beatles' Twist and Shout I picture Mathew Broderick singing it. That's not good.

Ferris is a comedy classic, but The Matrix is still a no contest winner for me. Except for Revolutions, the first two made for the most incredible action and storyline combined.

Save Ferris, save Ferris Bueller.

What?

Oh, we're raising money to buy Ferris a new kidney.

Go piss up a flagpole.

Hey, what if you get a favor from Ferris one day? Then where will you be, you heartless wench!

Do you hear that Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability.
