The final 5 have been determined.

5th place: Star Wars IV
4th place: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
3rd place: Star Wars V
2nd place: LotR: Return of the King

And the winner...

Shawshank redemption! (As if you didn't know by now)

Hope everyone enjoyed that. Look forward to doing it again.

Thanks for running it, deth. I think you're missing a category though. I would put Shawshank firmly in the 'It's good but not THAT good' category, but if RotK had won then 'It's in my top 5' would be too strong and 'It's good but not THAT good' would be too weak. It could have done with something like 'It was one of a number that deserved to win'

6? Why would 6 be better than 5? Do you own a company that makes ewoks or something?

When will you guys learn your math? a>b if and only if there's a positive number c such that a=b+c. 6>5>4>2>1 because 6=5+1, 5=4+1, 4=2+2, and 2=1+1.

All these crappy movies have really degraded your intelligences!

Ow, come on already. There are 120 possibilities of rankings, and i doubt there are many of those which won't have a GLer willing to post it... Neutral Laughing
Wouldn't it be easier to just have 10 polls (or 15 if RotS comes out before this whole thing is implemented) and then compile the results? Felicitous I don't desperately want to see this done, but i just wonder how come nobody suggested it in two months! Enthusiastic Grin
