Wasteland....probably the best RPG the C-64 had for its limitations.
I have to admit I never played a single FF game. Anyone want to recommend which ones to play (or all of them) but on which console emulator to go for? NES, SNES, N64 etc? |

I wouldn't waste my time playing them. They are all pretty much worthless.
FF6 in particular I remember being extremely boring. |

I agree. Or V. (Japan only, or PSX version)
I'd stay away from 7-9. None of them are particularly good. Although I saw someone use the phrase "FFVII is like McDonald's" once. It's not very good, but everyone likes it. |

It depends what you're looking for in the game.
FF V has probably the best gameplay of any game in the series, but its story is on the weak side. Conversely, FF VI has a great story but is marred by a steep drop in difficulty towards the end of the game. |
