Yea, I got "German" too.
But first, you guyz have got some really great points, I never thought of what would happen if the houses were in a circle!
I did not use pieces of paper, but I used a chart instead. I guess I don't have to explain how I got the answer cuz there are better ones out there (and I don't want to type so much).

Hey sharkette...if you want to respond to an ongoing discussion about a puzzle, you can click on "post reply" instead of "post new." That way your response will appear at the end of the thread with the other posts about that puzzle, instead of by itself (where people may not know what to make of it).
