There are a lot of solutions to this puzzle, the reason for this is the inclarity of clues 4 and 9. Because of this many things work. The general assumptions for this puzzle are that the first house means the left house and that the green house is directly to the left of the white house. So, although you could be right, it doesn't fit the accepted interpretations of the rules.
