I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no, it wouldn't work. Although the salt (and other crap) in the water conducts electricity, I don't think it will conduct enough to make the bulb even look lit up at all.

The only thing I can think of is the fact that if you touch the positive and negative terminalls of a battery to your tounge, the negative side will hurt more-taste better.

I can't decide if this is because electricity hurts more when leaving your body, or if i have the flow of electricity backwards in my mind.
