Firstly, I think we need to add the underline to linkages. Maybe it's just me, but my browser shows not the underlines. Not a big deal... unless you're color blind. And I am.

Secondly... I think we should switch the default smilies. : ( should point to Melancholy and not Dispirited The blue one is cuter. And Revenge most foul! is ugly. Make : ) point to Felicitous and not to Revenge most foul!

Those are my thoughts.

About the second one, you're several years too late. I suggest you read the Site Design forum for an explanation.
About the first one, go ahead, it's probably adding like two letters to the css.

I read it. My statement stands. :p

I think you chose the wrong version for the noseless icons. Melancholy

It's never too late to correct mistakes.

Actually, I believe it is, or the US would have long ago switched to the metric system. Once people get used to something, it's better not to change unless you have a good reason.

I always add an underline to my links and besides, automatic underlining will not let you hide links so easily.

I try to only use the old smilies, and I've gotten used to adding the nose. So, as Ant said, it's too late. Felicitous

Also, Revenge most foul! isn't ugly, it's just expressing something totally different than happiness.
