I have to agree with ande, the inside of the tent is probably dark and somewhat hard to see. If it is the guard that is color blinded than that makes it harder for him to see what you do. It says that you were kneeling on the ground. When you lean over to pick up a chip, use your shoulder to slightly push the blindfold up JUST enough so that you can look straight down and maybe see what color the chip is. My guess is that the tribe probably put a torch in there for the guard to see you and watch if you were to openly lift up the blindfold. The torch produces light therefor helping you to choose which color to put in the different piles. It also said that the guard was behind you, so I’m guessing that he won’t even notice if the blind is moved VERY slightly in the front. This method will only work if you have good vision due to the darkness and little light.
