I believe the solution would take sometime to do. First of all the highest comb is 999999999 and the lowest is 12. It's simple do process of elimenation until you ge the code.

Actually that is the first time I have seen this riddle. It just that why make things complicated in making the numbers primary, letters, or binary code. Yes, it may take a while but it is easist than trying to find pattern.
