Mr. E - you say you have numerous solutions - the puzzle asks us to choose answer A, B, or C. Which would you choose?

well you know you dont have to tell him the code
you could just reply exactly what the a, b, c tell you
wow some ppl came up with some well thought out solutions
i would choose c
use a computer program that you can input numbers and it will bring up all the combinations within the parameters you set

Cha, I'm not disputing your answer, it seems to be the most likely answer, but I don't see how you get M from 1,2,7. Each letter in Braille consists of only 6 dots, arranged as

code:

1 4
2 5
3 6

So how does the 7 apply ?

M is a combination of positions 1, 3 and 4, not 1, 2 and 7

Or is there a step missing that I am not aware of ?

If 1, 2, 7 is the answer, and order does not matter, wouldn't these 3 buttons have lit up when typing in one of the previous solutions?
