Well, I'm out of ideas, so unless one of you guys has a brainstorm before tomorrow we're going to have to move on without the clue. Unfortunately, 4 pages isn't much to go on. There is, however, a decent (though not conclusive) case against Tseirp, but I haven't seen one against TopHat. Therefore, vote: Tseirp.

Riddle:

As time goes on, it will show that we are the key.
Nine letters from hell, nine options in which remember this time. Nine options stretched across the pair of words.

Start with the name of a country big in the news, its 6th letter with the noninclusion of spaces.
Follow that letter with the third letter in the smallest pyramid of Giza (unless you take that literally)
With that the third and fourth are just a brain's jump away (a small price to pay for this information wanting you may).
Or go the route of pain, a common exclamation at ones displeasure is nothing but the second half of your first answer

The rest of the letters, in order, are a part of their own term, but those who are good with a language can easily combine the first half with this rest.
Walking this is a dangerous path, one that is ironic because the scum are doing so now.
Just remember that we are the key.
There is no point in going word by word, but remember the key and the rest.
Once the key leads to the door, why not use the second half most possible possibility as your guide.
After 1999, three words and then the second answer to this riddle will be there in plain sight. Use this to figure out your clue to bring the scum blues.


Answers: The first part is "Know", and the Second part is "label"

Reasoning behind it:
First Letter: North Korea
Second Letter: Menkaure's Pyramid
Third and Fourth =ow, completeing the first half into "Know".

With the second half, know + another word creates knowledge. However, this is not the answer, as only the second half is used. The recurring "We are the kee" is refering to "wee-kee", the correct pronounciaton of Wiki. Then the goal is to search Wikipedia only for the second half, which would search for "ledge", which brings up this page. Using the rest of the clue, go to the part where it says "1999". From there, skip three words as directed to get label, the second answer.

EBWODP: that, and the fact that DukeBanks was MIA during the night - and night was over quickly. It just doesn't make sense for Sefer to be a role that has a night action.

TopHat has a point- the night being less than 24 hours while my predecessor was missing makes it pretty tought for me to be scum or a cop.
Now, he could be scum using the same reasoning (no time for me to have taken a night action, don't know for sure which remaining character is scum) to guess I'm not a cop and thus that claiming doctor would be safe, but it's not the impression I get from the way he went about his claim. I'm sticking with my Tseirp vote- speaking of which, he hasn't checked in for a week; mod, can you prod him?

I'm here, a bit dissappointed that I couldnt get the riddle solved, but knowing the way this game has gone it would just make the 50-50 shot me and either TopHat or Sefer (probably TopHat for reasons that Sefer stated), with the other guess being whoever is scum. Belive me if you want to, if you dont belive me lynch me and hope you have a doc that can prot the NK.

I ****ed up alot this game, got thrown completely offhook when Theo was dayvig'd.

As for pulling the riddle as my name backwards, that was sheer stupidity on my end. I tried playing it off, but I played it off a bit too much.

I almost had a shot near the end, but Im pretty sure Sefer saw me bsing through the whole game when he joined in.

Also, belive it or not, me and theo did have access to the scum account, and it was us posting everything (except for the riddles at the beginning of the day, I think the mod did that)

o_O Wow. So you had a contingency plan. Naturally, if Sefer were scum, he'd expect you to protect me, the mod-confirmed (Since by elimination he must be scum). If you protect yourself, and Sefer misses his kill, then I still would have to realize that there really was a doc in this game and that you weren't just BSing. But then again, why the failed kill? So I would be on board fairly quickly. So TopHat, you actually knew that we had won the game.

I think that if a player goes inactive (like Dukebanks did), a mod should never start the next day before finding a replacement. Otherwise, players would be able to guess that player's role based on certain actions happening or not happening during the night.

I wanted to throw a curve ball out there, due to the fact i was using a C9 setting. Some people think that this kind of setup could be broken, and throwing the possibility of a OS vig, especially if he could day kill, that it would throw a wrench into the system.

This game originally was setup for a kind of vanilla setup with 12 people. three Scum, one person who could negate the riddle to get the scum info, a doc and the rest townies. I only made this game short due to the lack of interest originally. Next time i want to do a 12 person like this.

That set up would actually be pretty fun, but it was the first C9 i have played in about 3-4 months that the scum didnt win.
