This is a novel being written Wiki style. You can edit the story etc. An experimental thing. Could be interesting to see what GLers put in there. Probably every one of the characters will vote to lynch each other... |

Quadradius
A game played on a 8x10 board, with 20 pieces on each side. On your turn, move a piece one square horizontally or vertically. Capture pieces by landing on them; capture all of your opponents pieces to win.
An extremely boring checkers variant, right? It would be... if it weren't for all the POWER-UPS you can add to your pieces! Power-ups appear on spaces at random. Collect them by moving onto them; they let you do things like...
Nah, I won't spoil it. Head over there to find out. The game may be a bit too random, but it's still pretty fun!
I found the game here, at jayisgames.com. |

| 3rd try at 33: 33 seconds. Seems appropriate enough to stop. |

Cool Game
| Quote: |
A live action puzzle game written for fun in flash. You have to stop your enemies, or 'creeps', from travelling all the way across the screen. Tower pieces can be purchased and placed on the map to kill the creeps before they make it across. Inspired by a Warcraft 3 tower defense map called Autumn Crossing and a few other TD Warcraft III maps.
Game Instructions
Creeps enter from the top and from the left. You must stop them from reaching the other side or you will lose lives. When all your lives are gone the game is over.
Towers are used to attack the creeps and also to block their path. There are 5 different towers to choose from each with different abilities. Towers can be improved by buying upgrades.
Gold is earned by killing creeps, especially the boss creeps which come every 7 levels. Your score depends on how much gold you have earnt and how many lives you have lost.
Levels come along every 30 seconds or so. There are 49 levels in total.
Select your desired difficulty, place a few Towers and then press START to begin. |
Tower Defence
Add scores to group GreyLabyrinth, as I have started a league table under that name with my score of 852.
You can also see the end formation of defences, which is pretty cool and provides pointers for improvement. |

I'm up to 79 as I type this. I'm taking a break, because #59 makes my mouse hand hurt, and I've done it a lot. _________________

so i'm curious, what kinds of best times do you guys have for minesweeper?
my personal bests are 9 seconds for easy, 78 for intermediate, and 411 for expert. On average, intermediate takes me about 100 seconds, easy takes about 15, and expert varies rather largely. If i finish it at all _________________ Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? |

My expert time history is interesting (to me anyway). When Limited Wish and I were roommates in ~93 we competed regularly. It seemed like right after I broke his record, he broke mine. I'm sure he felt the same way. But we didn't get lower than 180, or maybe 150.
When I was stationed at SIMA here in SD in 99 I got into a similar competition with one of the other POs in the shop. She was good. She would beat me not by a few points but by a dozen or so each time. The last time I surpassed her was at ~70. She didn't try to beat me (or never said anything) after that. I eventually got down to 58, but sadly that was from playing about 1-2 hours straight, days at a time. No wonder the other PO gave up, she was smarter than me. _________________ And he lived happily ever after. Except for the dieing at the end and the heartbreak in between. |

looking at courk's picture, then worm's, It occured to me that the megaman-like minesweeper window had someone else's power, then went back to regular form. _________________ Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? |

higher metachlorian count.
i really liked the desktop tower defense game jack-ian posted, so i tried a few of the others out there and i found this one. i think it cured me of my addiction to the previous. the layout of the maze is fixed, but there are other variables that require some strategy.
