Sometimes when I sneeze, I immediately smell a bad smell, then it goes away after a few seconds. What causes this?

Maybe if you tell us what this smell smells like, we may be able to offer advice!
Don't forget, a sneeze comes froom the depths of the lungs, throught the windpipe and out the mouth and nose. On it's outward travels it collects some nasty flemmy stuff, of which, some can hold aromas and tastes of which you may have had earlier.

Well, I can't remember right now, but there's this: A week or so ago, I was very sick for two days. I sneezed several times throughout and never smelled anything. Today I'm still shaking off a bit of stuffiness from the cold/flu/whatever and I sneezed, and I smelled something bad.

This question will open up a wide range of sarcastic replies from folk but, do you nasal, oral, or nasal oral sneeze? To simplify it, do you sneeze out you mouth, nose, or both?

Do you smoke?
Drink coffee?
chew gum?
Take any new medication(s)?
Vegetarian?
Have any tooth decay?

Just to find out a few things.

I think I nasal oral sneeze. At least nasal.
I don't smoke or drink coffee, and I only chew gum once in awhile. I'm not a vegetarian, I don't have any tooth decay, but I do take medication. Aderal XR for my ADHD.
