On reflection, that wasn't a well-crafted clue -composed in a bit of a rush. Let's try again:

Prepare for a kiss -there's money in it (5)

Amazing how a three-letter word could be so tricky and so clever! :D

Solution:roe

Method:"regarding" = "re"
"band" = "O" (housed in "re")
"school of the future" = definition. (Get it? Fish eggs -- roe -- will become a school of fish in the future.)

Next:

Drinks for one hundred headless horsemen. (6)

I have an answer for this, but it doesn't seem to work, so maybe there's another answer.

My answer:cram
"marc" is a drink, a sort of brandy made from the residue of grapes after they have been pressed for wine. (Thanks, on-line dictionary!) "back" signals a reversal, yielding "cram."

I guess it would work the other way, too, with "cram" going backwards for "marc." Neither seems to let me log in.

That falls into the same sort of group as GEGS - it's a perfectly reasonable clue, but I suspect that if it showed up in a "proper" puzzle the setter would probably be advised to change it Wink
