Hey,

I've just noticed this in the past month or so. When using Firefox, after I enter my username and password, it takes me back to the main page, but it still appears that I'm not logged in. If I then log in a second time, though, it works. I've tried on multiple computers, using Firefox, and I get the same issue. I have no problems when using IE. Is this maybe caused by something in my browser settings? I have cookies enabled, and even if that was the problem, wouldn't I be locked out entirely, rather than just having to log in an extra time?

Thanks.

If you're using Firefox, DON'T SELECT THE "Remember me" BOX! It screws with Firefox's cookie settings somehow.

Hmm, I realized that after logging in the first time, my username does show up at the very bottom of the page where it says which users are currently online. But it doesn't show up next to the "Log in" link at the top of the page, and when I try to post, it acts as if I'm not logged in. If I log in a second time, my name does show up next to the "Log in" link and I can post with no problems.

And thanks for the tip, raekuul. I made sure the box wasn't checked, but it appears the problem is still happening.

I don't have any problems with firefox in most cases. I usually keep myself logged in, though. The computers i use at work won't let me log in regardless of the browser i use.

With my Firefox, I log in once and from then on I have to click "Log in". I don't have to retype anything, that automatically logs me in. It's odd.

firefox might be remembering passwords for you. I'm not sure if that's how it works, though.

I don't let it remember my passwords. And I don't think I accidentally clicked, since when I do actually log out, I have to type my password in again. Wouldn't it be able to match up "Courk" with my password? I've never used the feature, so I'm not sure how it actually works, obviously. Felicitous
