Then you expect us to believe you're cop when you pick both mafias and the confirmed innocent on the day that he was confirmed innocent. I'll post my actual investigations later probably tomorow because I have a big paper Im trying to write right now. And I probably shouldn't even be posting this. |
Slipped up there, did you? I voted TDP without reason, and with little or no bandwagon on her. You don't wonder *why* I would've done that? I tried clearing raekuul as town so that we could make an informed decision about the others. Why would I do that for someone who up until that point, was getting suspicion from others? It would make no sense. Your arguments are failing, and it's because you don't have evidence to back you up. I do. |

Oh, no problem, I just would like to hear why 2 days after MNOWAX was replaced, UM was still confused about whether or not MNOWAX was a cop or a doctor.
Especially given that UM claims that he replaced the cop.
I'm pretty sure that if I replaced someone, and received their investigation results, 2 days later, I'd be pretty sure of what role they had.
I'm pretty ready to vote.
UM, I'll give you one more post to attempt to redeem yourself. Please include investigation results and clarification for your confusion on Feb. 5.
Thanks. |

I think it's clear that we are waiting for Undercover Monk to post/compose/invent his response and fabricate some investigation results.
So, I'm not convinced that the deadline was called for. |

Been like three days since he last posted in the thread, I worry.
Plus, extensions are gonna be given if needed, so it's not like some huge burden.

Sorry I took so long guys but Im on Spring Break and my home computer wasn't working. Its fixed now so I can answer those burning questions that you been waiting for....The suspence is killing me....

Can you also explain this bit, while you are at it:
| Mod wrote: |
| MNOWAX was a cop, but never fret, I shall assign a new one since this was on my fault, the only handicap the town has now is that we are down to 7. |

| UM wrote: |
I'm so confused right now was MNOWAX a cop or a doctor and how is it fair to him to be mod killed when he didn't do anything this totally sucks!
Still don't know who to accuse except our mod! I'll review later just wanted to add my two cents. |
- Feb 5, 2008 |
Well first off I obviously didn't want to go around toting the fact that I was the new cop. Thats a one way ticket to deadsville. So I played stupid. If any one had called me on it I had a good reason from the Crep'er post.
| Quote: |
| Okay, back to voting everyone, new doctor with the same investigation information that MNOWAX... |
You can see how that could have confused some. I pretended to be confused so the mafia wouldn't try to take me out.
And finally my picks of the game
First two nights MNOWAX picked as Dutters and me.
I can wager a guess at why he picked us but its only a guess (Im a little biased on the guy he seems to always want to oust me)
Dutters: would have been my first choice as well as his play is so sparadic, if not down-right stupid, thats its hard to tell where his allegence lies. Example: Killer Has a Voice 2 Mafia
Myself: He seems to have some personnal vendetta against me as it seems hes always voting to lynch me. As Cop he had a perfect chance to find out whose side I was on. He did catch me the last time I was mafia in Keyboard mafia.
After that I took over tdp(mafia) was lynched that day but I was still sure Raekuul was mafia. I was so sure I didn't bother checking him I figured on the off chance it wasn't him it was probably one of the lurkers so I chose to investigate yukiro (replaced by Jadesmar the next day)(innocent). Macros was killed and revealed to be the doctor. Also The Great Crep'er basically revealed Raekuuls innocence so I was left with Quialman and Krad Drol but I figured Krad was being too helpful and quilman is a great player. Just the type who would lurk with a purpose. So I went after quailman that day. He was lynched proven innocent and thus incriminating Krad Drol. I investigated him during the night. It was confirmed and I just hoped that I wouldn't be killed by him that night.
So thats where we find ourselves. Please listen to reason Jadesmar vote Krad so we can finally exterminate the mafia. However this ends I respect Krad Drol as a great player to make it this far (Ive played rather poorly myself) and have enjoyed this game. NOW DIE SCUM DIE! _________________ The Classic Blunders:

Keep in mind that TDP was lynched by only two people. Macros and myself. There is no reason where I would kill my own scum partner just because she has a vote on her. The reason then, obviously, is that I had information given to me that implicated her as scum.
Also note my subsequent reply to raekuul the next day, when after he voted for me, I was asking him specifically *where* in the thread my posting style changed. You clearly see a difference between how I was acting prior to the modkill and after. I was hoping raekuul would see that. |

Are you kidding thats classic and well played strategy. To kill off your own teammate especially in that situation was pure genious. Besides it could have been an accident who knew that the game would suddenly stall and we would have a two vote lynch.
Either way you voting for tdp does not make you innocent just like me voting to lynch does not make me scum. Im dissapointed that has been your first bad argument and hopefully its your last. _________________ The Classic Blunders:

CHRISTMAS MAFIA, DAY 5:
The sun was going down very quickly during the day, there were so few minutes of daylight left that the mafia man could easily be left standing and celebrate christmas all on their own. Yukon was tying up the noose with care, which sort of smelled like holly, as Frosty was almost melting, and sweating, that darn global warming was making a mess of him. (Al Gore being right, who knew?)
Pacing around the lynching pole, the remaining three were ready to make their final arguments, and with a stern look in each other's eyes, they all prepared to vote and lynch and see if the night would bring them joyous christmas thyme, er- time, or death...by mafia that is!
"You made one baaaaad desicion buster! I see through you Mr. Cornelius! Don't you play games with me! I have the Clue to your Monopoly on our lives!!!! Er- Apples to Apples!!!" said Frosty
"Will you stop talking in italics," said John "Bold is so much better."
Yukon was convinced that Frosty had been conspiring in the snow, it was at first a joyous little game of rolling up snow with Cindy Lou Who (who was painfully getting frostbite among the conspiring). But it turned into meetings in the night, and coming to kill off fellow brothers of christmas theme and harmony. However Frosty, as even a small plastic spork with radioactive powers including one to think, which had graduated harvard with a major in crime deduction and such, playing mafia on the computer so much with fellow GLers picking up so many mafia strategies and thus knowing the enemy...*pant* could guess, was suspicious of Yukon Cornelius, the deadly mafia miner.
With the two whose votes cancelled each other out, it was all on John, it was his duty to determine the victor of the game, after many days, and many nights, this desicion could not be made in haste. John looked at both the two among himself, Yukon and Frosty caught in almost a deadly stare, Frosty averted his gaze for a while, set it back, and began a battle of mudslinging,
"Yukon, yukon, yukon...how can we trust you? With so many faults you could easily be mafia, just looking at the facts it's almost a no-brainer. It would be a political quagmire on the very face of society, among all us well-rounded human beings-"
"It's only you and John!" retorted Yukon
"Yes, yes, but you see, not to be so acerbic towards your state of matter, but when you really cogitate over the very votings of the lynch which ultimately control whether this pleasant suburb remains serene and filled with trusted individuals-"
"Get to the point Mr. Freud!"
"How can we trust you when you...HAVE A HAIR GROWING OUT OF YOUR EAR!"
"Oh yeah?? Well your mother has a slight weight problem above average!"
"It doesn't compare to you, you make armpit fart noises during town meetings!"
"So?"
"So it isn't polite!"
"Stop it! Stop it!" said John McClane "I can't think under all this pressure!"
"Oh, sorry..."
"Yeah man, just go ahead, you think about it."
"Thank you...now...should I have Chinese for lunch or Italian?" said John
"Get to the vote!" Frosty and Yukon yelled in unison.
After pacing for a minute or two, putting a pipe in his own mouth to look more intelligent like a young Sigmund Freud, and doing a push-up or two to stay fit. John approached the voting booth, and...put in a vote for...Yukon Cornelius, a dear friend of Rudolph's and a miner of the snow.
"Well," said Yukon "hopefully in time you will learn to regret this."
"I apologize you big old teddy-bear of a miner you...but I can no longer trust you." John said dramatically
The three walked down to the lynching station, wrapped the noose around Yukon Cornelius's neck, and in a few seconds the sun was about to go down. Before he was hanged, he quickly emitted the words "Down with Frosty's cruel TYRANNY!!!" and his eyes rolled to the back of his head, and soon he was dead, a small slip of paper in his shirt pocket told whether he was mafia or not. Frosty, with his quickly melting hands, took it out of his pocket, and began to read what position it foretold.
"Turns out he was...the cop, and I'm the mafia, die, John, die!!!!!"
"OH NO! WAIT! GOD! I'VE CHANGED MY MIND, RESSURECT YUKON, RESSURECT!" screamed Mr. McClane.
"Sheesh, calm down, I was cop, we killed Undercover Monk, the mafia man."
"Oh...o.k., then merry christmas man."
Taking out a glass of eggnog, Frosty said at the stroke of midnight, "Merry Christmas."
"Aw crap, I had a present for MNOWAX, I knitted him a sweater! Darn!"
"Don't worry," said Frosty jokingly "He'll have it...in spirit!"
"Ghosts can't wear sweaters."
"Oh, ya think?"
Under the falling snow, the last townie standing and the relieved cop clinked their glasses, drank their eggnog, and were in for a shocker when a deadly easter bunny with egg bombs was hiding in a nearby bush.
The..................End????
------------------------------------------------
Congrats to jadesmar and KradDrol, you made it to the final day, and were able to eliminate all threats of mafia!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a gooooood night |

So, any comments, any questions?? Discuss, discuss.
Also, running a 'Culinary Mafia' in the near future in the hopes that I can fix all the mistakes I ever make, but also just one last big blowout besides 'Crep'er vs, THE RODENTS' seeing as how I'll be leaving the forums after both two are hopefully finished.
Just for a little bit of time though, don't worry, TGC shall return. _________________ Potato. Belgium. Eight. Random Lynch # Mafia awaits. |

Good game to all!
For those who wish to know my end-game strategy here it is...
I figured out that Krad was the cop on day 4 but couldn't kill him because he had fingered me so the only possible way to win was to get rid of the confirmed innocent and leave the unclaimed cop. I almost got away with it too.
Oh and to Jadesmar that is how I would have played it if I had been given sheriff. If tdp hadn't been killed as a fluke I think we would have one.
Oh and why is Johnn McClane in Christmas Mafia. _________________ The Classic Blunders:

To Crep the stories were amusing, but make sure you don't give away info. The fun of mafia is trying to make an informed decision with very limited information.
I rate this game a 6 out of 10. 7 considering it was your first modding expierience. _________________ The Classic Blunders:

Yeah, I figured it had to be obvious by Day 4. Which is why I went ahead and cleared raekuul, so that if you lynched me, we had a confirmed townie to make the decision. It was a real stroke of luck that macros managed to vote TDP first, gave me a bit of a buffer.
