Sci-fi vs. Sci-fi Spoof
This one should be interesting. _________________ The Classic Blunders:

2.Never go in against a Sicilian when DEATH is on the line

Er, I'm assuming babylon 5 is a sci-fi spoof, as I see nothing Futurama could spoof off of. _________________ Potato. Belgium. Eight. Random Lynch # Mafia awaits. |

| The conclusion of the poll tournament is that TGC doesn't know anything about science fiction. |

I happen to have watched 1 or 2 episodes of the space station in the 2250s and 2260s, the telelvised series, I just assumed that there may have been one ancient one before that was almost the exact storyline seeing as how its a common theme among science fiction television and literature. Seeing as how Futurama is merely not a spoof on any single television show, phenomenon, etc, etc. (Maybe once or twice with Star Trek but one or two episodes are nothing compared to the other 30 or 40 of them) Basically just a depiction of the future as The Jetsons are, there is no single event that is a spoof of anything in Futurama, no event that happened before in Science Fiction that would constitute as a spoof. The genre is merely a theme that science-fiction mostly comes off of, and if we were to call that spoof than we are to call everything Science-Fiction a spoof.
So I have a different opinion than yours, so please, when you ASSUME you make an ASS out of U and ME. _________________ Potato. Belgium. Eight. Random Lynch # Mafia awaits. |

Well there you go then.
I started writing a long reply here, but decided it wasn't worth it. If you don't understand either of the shows in the poll, then you probably shouldn't vote in it. _________________

what makes it a spoof is it makes fun of the genre.
The jetsons is in fact a spoof of the future as flinstones is of the past. _________________ The Classic Blunders:
