I'm sorry, I've never really heard that much of Fawlty Towers, but the simpsons are just a too much a show I breathe and live to give up on supporting now. I am a diehard fan for the yellow characters, but I definitely will be on the lookout for Fawlty Towers in the future. Even if it is BBC from where I live, where I find myself falling asleep during most of the programs broadcast on the channel (Monty Python is an acception), I hate to be superficial, but maybe its just the whole aura they come off of, I can't stand a british voice for more than 20 minutes. los.

You're missing out on a bit, then. I think BBC America has a good variety of shows and does a fairly good job of editing them to fit our "hour" timeslots. There may be other shows that would appeal to you that you just happen to keep missing.

Listen I'm not sure what BBC America you're watching, but most of the time I turn on the channel there's just a bunch of constant reality shows, (I'll admit it, I'm a shameless addict too, but only for reality competitions, after all these years I'm still hooked on Survivor, I just find it to be a great social experiment, much like mafia). Maybe one or two comedies, perhaps Whose Line, but you've gotta understand that I was partly raised by American Television and when I see our spinoffs of their shows (i.e. Whose Line, The Office) I always find the states version a bit better than the english version as I am impartial. And I can't find the restraint to not take a neutral side in these poll tournaments seeing as how I just find some shows above and beyond, compared to what the english do for humor, plus that and they're just never on whenever I'm free, or I'm too fixated because again, I'm in The States, and in my eyes, its just better than any Gordon Ramsay or Anne Robinson.

I didn't say everything on BBC America was good. They have a variety of shows that I think it'd be impossible for everything on the channel to appeal to everyone. But this goes for every channel. Looking at NBC's Fall 2006 grid (it was the most recent I could find in a handy grid), there is one show I watch and two shows that I haven't watched but that I think I would find entertaining. Other than that there were 2 Deal or No Deals and 3 different Law & Orders. ABC's Fall 2006 only had one show I watched. Similarly, there's one show on BBC America I make sure I make time to watch. It seems on par with other channels to me.
