Two of the greatest Sitcoms in TV History finally meet! _________________ The Classic Blunders:
1. never get involved in a land war in Asia
2.Never go in against a Sicilian when DEATH is on the line
3. Never release Peyton Manning

Now that's a shame they had to meet each other on the way.
Both had excellent comedy, brilliantly written, and great characterisation.
It has to be M*A*S*H though. Setting in the Korean war means it had an easier environment to add drama and twists within context than the various social nuances of the Cheers bar. Therefore M*A*S*H was the richer. |

I'm inclined to agree with Ford here. Plus I think that here in the UK we had the incredible advantage of seeing the show originally broadcast without a laugh track, which somehow helped it to transcend its genre and making the dramatic situations much stronger. _________________

| Looks like all the hype over this match might be for naught. Cheers looks totally out done. . |

Lol. Well if I were to base this on ratings, MASH had the most watch episode in American history I believe. But based on what I prefer, Cheers all the way. _________________ Lottery: A tax on people who are bad at math. |
