hey, so i made this realtime online mafia game. www.epicmafia.com
it's not complete yet, but i just wanted to know how people felt about it, and whether i should continue development on it.

i sorta made it to practice my web development skills, but i figure some people may like it.

so some person can create a table with a list of cards they want (so far there are villagers/mafia [duh] and doctor + cop) and the number of people they want playing. the game will then randomly select that many people from the cards.

once u enter the room, once the target number of people join, the game will start.

the thing that is lacking right now is that if somebody leaves during the middle of the game, the game will be unplayable, (unless the person is already dead, in which case it doesnt matter).

however, i've played it with some of my friends, and it works well (when dreamhost's shared hosting is sufficiently fast, that is)

i'm also considering selling the project off, since i have other projects in mind at the moment. so let me know if anyone of you are interested in taking over the development.

Something to add:

1. Coapse verifyer: Knows how did persons die during the night (now that can be: mafia kill, bodyguard replace, bodyguard rebound, vigil kill, vigil found, bomb blow, mason hit mafia, die with cult leader, killer kill, yakuza sacrifice).

2. Dr. who: You will know what it is by watching my Poker Mafia(or PM me if you won't wait)

It's interesting how everyone on the GL is like NEVER use the No lynch, where as in the EM, you do it like every round.

With the speed of the forum games a "no lynch" would make the game even slower which makes it rather boring, whereas on epicmafia the days are seldom longer than 5 minutes.
On epicmafia you also know exactly which roles are in the game, so it's predictable which effect a "no lynch" will have, whereas in most of the forum games the roles are not known. You don't even know when you reach LyLo because you don't know how many mafias are in the game.

Still, I think I'm voting "no lynch" in Unbalanced Mafia, at the moment ^^
I should play less on epicmafia.
