Well, I clearly come from almost entirely the opposite viewpoint (although I certainly don't think he was "likeable" in any shape or form!), and, whilst I can't defend some of his decisions, I do consider many of them to have been reported in a somewhat biased light. However, this isn't a thread about Cromwell, and it was bad of me to even mention him Revenge most foul!

Let's go back to arguing about Washington instead...
