No, that is not it. This is definitely one that, once you get it, you will be quite sure you are right. (Besides, the number of lines that it shows has somewhat to do with how wide your browser window is.)

Here is another bit that would fit the system (only the part in quotes):

"Hear! Hear! You have naught but to peer to see all."

One last hint: Ransom's note and my previous one (though not this one) both are written using the original rule. However Ransom's use of the word "utter" and my use of the word "than" are both a bit suspect.

If you still don't have it (and still care, which you must or you wouldn't have reached this far), here is an answer, sort of, in invisible ink. (At least I hope so, it's my first try with it.)

Two Sea

Here awl! Here awl! No watt eye no. Ewe sea; wee sea; wee awl ewes are ayes. Butt dew ewe sea watts reel? Sum our tolled witch two sea; weather read ore blew. Four sum, site whithers. Their tolled knot too sea; there tolled buy there piers naught two yews there ayes! Butt wee no won knead naught sea threw ayes two halve cite. Four reel site -- are reel pries -- yew dew knot ewes you're ayes, ewe ewes ewer mined.

According to my dictionary, at least, homonyms are a subset of homophones. Homonyms are two words pronounced AND spelled the same, but with different meaning. Homophones sound the same, but may or may not be spelled differently.

So homonyms may be spelled the same, but not necessarily.

Hmmm, contradictory dictionaries. Imagine that.

However, dictionary.com also states that homophones may be spelled the same as well. If that's the case, it appears Hitchhiker was right all along. I personally feel that's a bit "sloppy" considering the meanings of the actual words (homophone = 'same sound', and homonym = 'same name'). But I never argue with Webster.
