I still think there's something to be said about Lovett/MNOWAX connection from the scum's post. The reference was pretty obscure and so I'm thinking it might have been a slip-up. I haven't gone through this thread in review... because, honestly, why waste my time for an apparently modless/dying game... but that's what I remember.

It's also easily provable too, by either lynching him or NK'ing him once. If that really is his role, I like the theory that he's probably something like an SK, such as GC suggested. Idk, do godfather roles get that powerful? They are usually super-immune to investigation, correct? But I was under the impression that we should avoid lynching people who claim the first day...that way we save them for the second day

But then you get into the quandary of what if everyone roleclaims, then the game is no fun. Which probably wouldn't happen but still, yay conversation!

I was Professor Xavier from X-Men mafia, which was a kind-of super-cop. I wasn't told what team my investigation target was on, but I was told their role name and which game it was from, so with a little bit of investigation I knew everything about them.

Plus, knowing their name would have helped me subtly let people know I knew who they were. For instance so far I knew Undercover Monk was the Twix Bar from chocolate mafia, and I was tempted to throw the word "twix" into a comment about him.

I also sent TGC a pm almost immediately after the second choiceblock began, and he has yet to even read it, so I also think it's pretty fair to declare it dead at this point.

I was probably a bit too active/aggressive for such a power role (it was especially powerful with no role reveals on death) but I couldn't help myself.

I'm currently suspicious of Raekuul for trying to act like a cop himself, particularly because he was never called on intercom (I got called up on intercom when I used my power). I also suspect Ms Lovett of being the post land-miner, mainly because she was called up on intercom at some point as well.

I guess that's about it for me. A real shame the game died.

Because of your harmful properties to manatees, you have a special power in this game, to make one of your kills occur later than you made it. Should you not choose for the kill to happen when you initially made it, you can choose, and choose alone, to make it happen on any of the next two choiceblocks, this means, only other roles may effect this kill on the block you choose to do it, not the block that it happens to occur on.

You also have access to the scum account, and must collaborate with your fellow mafia buddies on what puzzle or riddle you would like for the town to solve on the choiceblock. Full rules are in the inbox. the password is...

You also have a decision to make, you have immunity to investigations and role name findings (you will come up as 'Trichechus manatus - a Manatee named Whiskers'.) but must choose ASAP, which one to make a full imunnity, and which one to have only one shot. You of course will play as a serial killer, you may mine posts in the future by post number, with each passing choiceblock, you lose a percentage of the bomb going off on someone. If the post number passes in the choiceblock you set it in, the bomb has a 100% chance of going off, it decreases to 50%, 20%, 10%, and then 0% with each passing choiceblock.

If you are lynched or killed, any future post mines are declared ineffective, however, like Amb did so, I will not allow the whole town to die in one go.

You also have unlimited access to spreading gossip, simply PM me the name of someone you would like to spread a rumour on, and whether you want it to be about them being scum or town.

Yes, you, you will play a character that has come back from the famed game to once again play, and as this character you shall play a role very related to the way she thinks. Alice, being of violent nature in the strip due to seen circumstances caused by other workers, has been characterized in this game as a 'Nexus'.

This means, that in this game, you have a one shot ability, other than that you are a normal townie playing this game like most. Once during a choiceblock, you may choose to turn on your Nexus power, if you do, any power role that uses its power on you, you will be told of and it will become your responsibility to target it towards another player. Remember, once you use it, it is gone.

Each choiceblock, along with making a puzzle for the townies to solve (full Scum rules PMed to the Scum account, btw, the password is: garage) with your fellow scum buddies, every member of the mafia must submit a vote on who they would like to kill, if they can come to a decision, if there are any disputes, MNOWAX, will make the final call, however, I may give the goons some opportunities to outvote the GF to ensure democracy, so watch out.

You also have a gossip spreading ability, in each choiceblock, you may PM me the name of a player you would like to start a rumour on, and whether you want the rumour to be about them being scum or town. You may use this for however many times you want. But don't spoil it now, remember, the intercom is watching.

You are also in posession of a leftover timewatch from Time Travel Mafia, once in a choiceblock, you may travel back in time to a decision you made or a vote you made. Because as the name still holds true for you, you are a mafia permanent voter, because of the deadly caramel, this entraps your victims, but also is a detriment to you, since your caramel gives you only one chance to vote, and once you have voted, your vote stays there, until the next choiceblock turns around.

Once you have used the time watch, you must pass it on to another player, since you can only use it once, until it comes back into your posession. Even these decisions, once made, cannot be changed, unless you wish to go back in time to when you made them, and thus change it, abolishing any move anyone else made with the timewatch. That also runs the risk of blowing the mod's mind, but he will try to keep it together.

Firstly, I want to apologize for those I hurt in my selfish abandonment of the game. It was not my intention, things just got caught up and tangled and my brain nearly exploded trying to combine elements of Deep South, Time Travel, Keyboard, French, Pirates, and KHAV Mafia. My brain exploded..literally. There was a lot of RL stuff as well, a lot of conflict, a lot of drama, I needed to take a break, it just slipped my mind in the craziness to contact any of the players.


In short: I bit off more than I could chew, I am ashamed, and I am sorry. Tbh, I was thinking it could be a blast, it hadn't been done before, I know now why.

Obviously, this game came to a premature end, at the expense of others who wished to play and a lot due to the first eagerness which then turned into slacking to make that much of a move from some players who will remain nameless. It is my fault alone I believe.

Despite this, (and call me what you will) I still find modding mafia games exciting and have many ideas stored away. They won't be tried for a while until I have for sure cleared my schedule. I do plan to come back, not soon, but sometime next year, and it is my promise to you that they will be small, and I will stay committed. Not only mafia games but visitor games as well.

I owe every one of you a great deal. Don't stop believin' now, get this forum back off its feet.

hey it was good idea, but it was in need of a Major co-mod, looking at the roles that were revealed, its a cinch that this game could have killed a lone mod. deep south + time Travel = death for mod. simple as that. while the forum has gone through a slump we are still chugging along, and soon ill put up a new game for everone to enjoy as well. enjoy yourself, Crep, and get back here soon so i can play this variation again!
