Well, I actually kind of thought that picking on the newbie was actually an indication that he wasn't mafia. I would think that scum would attack the most knowledgeable players, considering them to be the most threat. On the other hand, I'm not sure he realized/believed I really was a newbie. Or maybe he did, but he is playing a deeper game than I had figured. Or maybe I just don't know what's going on.

All in all, at this point I like the idea of piling on, just to get the game moving! And this is a little revenge for him picking on me in the first place.

A lot of people who jumped onto your bandwagon came across as suspicious, and, surprisingly to me, the most suspicious was Zag. He admits to not finding creativemind suspicious, and then just wants to pile votes on. It smells like a newbie mafia move to me. He's eager to get a lynch in and is willing to jump onto someone else's logic to accomplish that, but still mentions he's not suspicious as a kind of safety net.

I think Zag's anxiousness to lynch is due to the surprise, when playing your first Mafia game, that a single day can take a freaking month.

Nothing really happens until Day 2. We'll go round and round in circles, until eventually we get enough votes to lynch someone, and it'll inevitably be a townie.

creativemind just pretty much announced he'll be gone for another 11 days coming up soon. I'm still urging people to vote for him so we can move forward.

Well, Loki's right, that I was surprised the first day takes so long, and I wanted something that happen. Of course, I realize that isn't evidence that I'm not mafia, but I don't think it is evidence that I am. Of course, now that Loki has stood up for me, I really hope that he doesn't turn out to be scum, cause then I know I'll be the next one lynched if he is.

I considered unvoting when I congratulated creativemind, but I wanted to see if the invis text in that note had any effect. But now at least I have someone to vote for that I actually have a reason to do so: revenge . Even though I still think that picking on the newb is probably not the best strategy for a scum in general. But now she's doing it as camouflage.

Wall-E's long gone from this game, since he hasn't posted for at least 2 weeks. So I think trying to lynch him will just be useless to us.

I do see zag's point in loki, sortof. zag unvotes and then loki makes an immediate switch to wall-e. I'm a little bit suspicious of that, but then again, I'm probably just a big idiot who's thinking too hard tonight.
