Would anybody be interested in another game of strategic bingo? This time a few things would be different, starting with less players per game. I was thinking of using a tournament format with 2 per match, and going back to just -one- random number to start off the round. Though this time I want to start with a random number that is NOT on either player's card. Though if doing one-on-one matches I could use the tried-and-true method of player one picking where to start, and player two picking which card they'd like, so as to encourage a neutral starting point.

The first couple rounds would only be played to 2 points, then the last rounds being played to 3 or 4 (which would go much quicker with two players instead of 5 all vying for 3 points). A tournament format does take away the wheeling-and-dealing, but instead creates a more chess-like thinking-ahead strategic element. I'm also going to go back to a full bingo board of 1-75.

Depending on number of people this would be single or double elim. Everything else would be the same rules as before, also I'll only be using standard bingos for this game, so five in a row wins. Getting the marker "stuck" grants the next person a free move anywhere as before, if both players get a bingo on the same turn whoever calls it first (in this case the person who's turn it is most likely Revenge most foul!) gets the point, free space in the center.

Anyways, blahblahblah who would be interested?

1. Amb
2. Zag

http://www.greylabyrinth.com/discussion/viewtopic.php?t=12978&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 is the previous game. And yes, I will NOT allow people to take moves back once posted, and NO editing of move posts. That just led to fire and damnation last time around Embarassed

Several times I regretted not joining that other game you had, so I guess I need to be in on this one.

I like the game and followed the last game (every now and then) however I have been avoiding games which require a longer time commitment to them. I like the idea of intermittent submission games because they allow players to drop out when things get busy.

Well if Amb and Zag would like to play still, I could mod a one-on-one best of three match. Heck, maybe we could make it king-of-the-hill with the winner playing the next challenger if she pleases.

I'll play if Amb wants to, though I guess I'd rather wait a bit to see if you can drum up 2 more players.
